Naked Elf: I am not "worried" that my audience has never seen this kind of thing before, but the fact is that whatever is on my site is part of the presentation of my comic. I would like the whole presentation to be clean. As a parent, I am uncomfortable directing my children's friends and parents, ...

ComicGenesis is Down "OFFICIAL" thread.
Apparently, no one who actually knows anything is taking the initiative, so I'm doing it. This thread is for official word only! NOT discussion. PLEASE DO NOT POST IN THIS THREAD unless you are transcribing some information actually posted/relayed to you by a site admin. the following are Kisai and ...

I wish to complain about the amount of people telling other people not to complain. If there was an official update thread or news post, no one need ever come into a complaint thread unless they actually wanted to vent. The admins wouldn't have to see the whining and complaining and those who don't ...

The admins should have news/status threads going to keep us informed everytime something goes wrong. Of course, we are going to talk and commiserate and bitch and moan among ourselves We whine and fuss to each other because it is natural, it feels good to vent with other people who are feeling the s...

I think most of us feel like we were left hanging. The lack of communication from our service providers (whether we pay for the service or not) leaves us all out there hanging. There have been problems for a while now, and yet there is no official thread in the forums. The only status report, explan...

Dr. Leo: There are actually lots of g-rated ads targeting adults. (G-rated does not mean kiddie.) My site picks up toothpaste ads, car ads, service ads, etc., but the "Hot Topless Blond Peepshow" ad currently prominent in the ad rotation is not what I would have on my site. The CG/Keenspot comic ads...

logo, I have been fighting this battle a long time. I do not have a newsbox on my page for that very reason. Even tho my comic is G-rated (and so marked in the site admin), I certainly get lots of ads I don't consider appropriate. I have complained, posted and send PMs, but his issue has not yet bee...

First off: You NEED navigation buttons. We can't navigate through your comics without them. Clicking on the calendar is awkward for navigation, made more so since the updates don't appear to be regular. There's no way to jump to the beginning of your comic and read through. A calendar archive page w...

I think you should consider the audience who is likely to be entertained by your comic as you envision it. Then find a rating system already in place that you are familiar with, like the ESRB ratings for video games or movie ratings and find the comic/internet equivalent. Since I am more familiar wi...

Thanks, Al! Yes, it was working beautifully.. about midnight central, I saw that my comic had updated smoothly and on time for the 2nd day in a row! *blink blink* Then this AM I see that everything is down. I also see that StrRedWolf is working on a fix in the "Domains not setting right" thread stic...

I have a twitter box on my site as well as a tagboard. I update the twitter and tell folks what's going on with the comic, as well as the tagboard because my post in the tagboard can get lost if the board is active that day. (The twitter is the section of my comic marked "Comic Status".. click the "...

I have no Idea if the switch made the difference or if there was some glitch that I just coincidentally happened to overcome....

I have gone exclusively to PNG for my comic, which is posted with a transparency. I have noticed two things: The PNGs seem to be a bit darker than my original psd (photoshop) file that I work in... in some versions of IE, the transparency part of the canvas/pic shows as a "shadow".. not quite transp...
