Re: Severed Ties ------->The current arc

Well we sure know whats happening now... if you know what I mean... Do we? I'm thinking this particular night in the practice room is what caused the rift between Evan and his temptress/friend there. Lots of ways in which this could go wrong: A) Easiest one: sex can ruin a friendship. Not sure why ...

What exactly is flirting anyway? I have a hard time tellin.... Good question. I think its different things to different people. The baker and the guy in the deli at the place I work at used to laugh and carry on all the time. He'd sneak up and scare her, then she'd get him back by saying something ...

Remember, keep your comics spayed or neutered and come on down  Heh, reminds me of a pun; don't remember if I heard it somewhere or thought it up. But it goes like this: Bob Barker, the well known anthro german shepherd gameshow host ends yet another episode of The Price is Wrong with his usua...

Whos on first. As to the comic: I do remember back when Evan went for a run and Ashley? found him, and they did Evan's silly little dance together. The way he flirted with her seemed to be a one shot thing, but it still had me worried he was straight. XD Even if this scene with the waiter turns out ...

What the hell are you people talking about? He's examining his belt. Hmm, so I guess it wasn't as hidden as I though. The best part is Ted's expression.. Examining his belt, hmm? In that case, why would Ted have that wide-eyed 'Oh my god, you're looking at his crotch!' look? Maybe Evan is at ...

Nice attention to detail on Evan when the waiter approached and introduced himself. Evan's ears were splayed, then perked forward at the sound of the voice. Cute!

Evan and Ted are arguing like an old married couple.
And the look on their waiter's face seems to suggest he is thinking the same thing I'm thinking, heheh.

Warning, rambling follows: Longest I've gone without eating is about 12 hours, and that left me feeling ravenous and light-headed. I was stuck at work and coulda grabbed a candy bar or something, but I hate eating in public unless in a restaurant or a setting of that type. With no one around to watc...

I like those oozy backgrounds. It reminds me of Shannon Wheeler and Dave Cooper. And that creepy Daffy Duck cartoon in which Bugs Bunny screws with Daffy. Hehe, I know the cartoon you're talking about. I would say that shows my age but fortunately the Cartoon Network is around to keep toons like th...

I like the way the background is white with black kind of "oozing" down, like in the last picture of the panel. I think its a clever way of making the reader see when something shocking or upsetting is revealed to a character. Can almost hear background music going along with fade to black. You know...

If Evan keeps it up, he will be a zombie.

Maybe he'll answer some cryptic ad in the paper bout a miracle potion that makes you lose weight instantly, with the minor side effect that you become a zombie. The lose weight instantly part would probably be all he'd bother reading.

I'll refrain from comment about Evan's naughty bits, since I tend to think about them enough as it is. :shucks:

Hmm.. looks like Ryan took the portrait of him strangling Evan and put it up against another portrait to hide it. Course, that'll prolly mean someone is gonna find it later and confront him about it. On a side note, Ryan looks cute when he's feeling troubled. Makes me wanna just hug him till he purr...

Hehe, I was about to comment on that last panel too. Very, very cute. Makes ya just want to lay down next to him and totally spoil him with scritches and cuddles. :)

The looks on Evan's face are priceless. Both the surprise at the kick, then when he turned and glared at her with his paws up like he was bout to grab her and bite her or something.

Hmm.. maybe Evan is a werewolf and doesn't know it. Strike that.. he's already canine. :D

Taking a second look, I can see the mousieness now too. The tail would have given it away more but it wasn't very obvious except for that one panel where he was laying all stretched out on the bed. That was a nice looking pose by the way :D

Hehe, I liked the last line about Evan eventually getting lorded over by some girl... or guy. I have to admit that I have often wondered if Evan was in the closet or perhaps bi without really even knowing it. There have been a few signs that point in that direction. The way he became seriously nervo...

Hopefully Evan won't run off now, leading to search parties being called out, complete with K9 units. Hmm.. if there are four legged canines in this particular shard of the multiverse. Course they might not be needed anyhow if everyones' sense of smell is strong as their four legged ancestors'. But ...

Noticed the nick in Evan's dad's ear. He doesn't look like much of a scrapper but maybe when he was younger he fought a lot. Or maybe its an old work related injury. Whatever the case it looks cool :) I've always thought scars and the like build character.
