Emerging from vague lurkerdom to say: Get well soon, Ghastly.

I have it so the background goes randomly through one of 200+ images every fifteen minutes. awkward - I now have yet another background to add to my set. Oh, such a finely crafted soliloquy, with the tumbling and uncorseted language of old! What I would give for these turns of phrase, so delicately and gently constructed, to be penned in today's language. Then again, my teachers hate when I write like that––they seem to think that metaphors and cloud...

At the tender age of twelve, I was very shyly looking up naughty words in the various dictionaries strewn about the house. I knew what everything meant, but it gave me a thrill to actually see them defined so succinctly. Call it lexophilia, if you will. Cue the internet, and the advent of the Merria...

Last I heard the number of the beast was 616. Early copies of Revelation give either 666 or 616, though scholars now think 616 was the earliest number. 666 is used so much because it's more catchy. And Happy Birthday, Awkward! One year wiser, older, and closer to being able to legally do everything...

The advantages of pools.
Awkward needs to get ahold of the movie the threesome is from and subtitle it all––though I'm slightly afraid that the ensuing comedy would kill us via suffocation from continuous laughter.

Electric pencil sharpeners. On paper, a wonderful idea: sharpen thy pencil without hassle. In reality: Loud, hard to clean, always getting stuck, oversharpen/undersharpen/sharpen only one side, smell vaguely of smoke, disgustingly dirty and oily inside, etc. I abhor them with a maddening fury, even ...
