Re: Removing my old comic
I came here with a similar question: I want to take my old comic down, but the login button just brings up an error. Did you ever get ahold of anyone? (The comic itself is fine. The username is the problem: my own name in backwards-alphabet code didn't seem like a big deal 20 years ago, but is defin...

Re: I can't add a folder to the workspace, can I?
I already have an images folder. I'm hoping that there's a way to have a separate folder somewhere with both images and html in it.

I can't add a folder to the workspace, can I?
The art section of my comic site has grown into basically a second comic, and I was hoping to organize things better by adding a new folder for it in the workspace, but that just gives me errors when I try to access it. Is there a way to put in a folder somewhere with both images and webpages in it,...

Re: How do I update art without a full update?
I have it set up like that. The problem is getting things to update whenever I want to add to it, which is often. Regular updates don't catch the changes.

Re: How do I update art without a full update?
That's the problem; I need to do a full update every time I add new art, which is almost every week. I've tried doing a regular update, but it never seems to find everything that I've added or changed. (And I do put the files in the webpages folder, rather than leaving them in the workspace.) I gues...

How do I update art without a full update?
I have a big art section on my site, and I usually have a couple new pictures to add with each update of the actual comic. My understanding of the update system is "Index update" = just the index page, "Regular update" = index and new comic page, "Full update" = EVERYTHING. Since there's quite a bit...

Re: The update didn't take
Aha! So I did! Thank you. I knew it had to make sense somehow.
(And of course now that it's figured out, there's 2000 people ahead of me in the queue... Le sigh.)
Thanks again.

The update didn't take [Solved]
Everything about my comic's latest update went through except for the actual comic image. That's still sitting in the updater like nothing happened, despite the fact that I just tried "full update" an it still didn't work.
Any ideas? Is this happening to anyone else?

Re: Two comics on one account?
Yeah, I figured it was something like that. Starting a second account is tempting, but the second comic is kinda connected to the first, and I don't really want them completely separate. Sounds like hand-coding a second set of comic pages is the best way to go. It's probably less work than what I'm ...

Two comics on one account?
I've been doing based-on-life comics for fun, and posting them as extras in the art section of my official comic. Now it's gotten to the point where I draw more of those than I do regular pages. I'd like to set things up so people can read through them by clicking "Next," instead of going back to th...

Hooray! Updates for all! I even updated twice! (I found and fixed a problem. I feel positively greedy, updating twice like that.)
And now my comic finally has its comment box! Hallelujah and muahaha!

Re: So apparently the siteadmin isn't updating...
Ironically, that's just what I was going to add to my site on this new update-which-is-not. Le sigh. Well, after it's all sorted, I'll be set for future crashes!

Re: general or partial CG server outage? WANTED: server status
I was just going to add a comment box, which I've been anticipating for a *long* time, and nooooooo it doesn't load! Very frustrating. I hope it's fixed soon.

A space for guest comments? [Solved]
How might I go about adding a comment function to my webcomic, so guests can chat about it? I know I can request a forum, but I don't think there are enough regular readers yet to make a full forum worthwhile. I've found how to add my own notes about each comic, but is there a way to let other peopl...

Re: Comic not updating on time
Same thing with mine. Everything appeared except for the actual comic.
I'm hoping this gets straightened out soon; I know it did happen before.

Re: My comic won't update [UPDATE]
Neither is my comic. I just read through this thread, and it looks like some people are having luck with waiting a long time, both with and without continued attempts at updating. Something is definitely screwy, and I hope it gets fixed soon. EDIT: I tried one last time, and a Regular update went th...
