Well in the world of the audiance I attract most I know personally. And then I would like to think that whatever audiance I attract that they would be flexable enough to either read things in a non-comic form that I write (after all it is the same author...or is it?) or to just ignore the text updat...

Thats a good point. While I don't want to irritate people intentionally, so long as it is online I am bound to bother someone. And you are right, with just one short story I could make a whole adventure in a comic, but the thought of crudely drawing something which I can better describe with languag...

haha, awesome! I found a version online, and through the science of guessing based on nothing I actually hit the wumpus. Then I tried to get eaten by the wumpus, but I fell in a hole and died before I could get eaten by the wumpus. I was rather sad to find out that I could hit the wumpus but not be ...

I still remember when John and I were playing MTG at about 3 in the morning and I guess one of us decided to build a new deck when we came across "Hunted Wumpus" It rapidly became side splittingly funny. I later found out that Hunted Wumpus was a reference to an old computer game. This could be grea...

Short stories in place of comics.

Ok, I started up a comic. Mostly because I really like reading other web comics, and while I enjoy making my comic, and the website and all that. However it is reminding me how much I hate drawing. Ever since 6th grade in Mr. Miles begining art class, I just haven't liked drawing. Now sometimes I ca...

Ditto to everything that was said. I hope everything/everyone is and will be safe and well. The comic was an amazing one, and if you ever return to it I shall still read it.

(The lead male character's name is Galen (which was indirectly mentioned all of once), the female one doesn't have a name yet, well more she does, but it isn't in the comic yet.) Yeah it kind of scared me too when I noticed how simular the characters looked, especiall in the last 2 frames of http://...

I would have to say that is quite the awesome comic. And I'm sorry thereforeiam but I disagree, I like the scary banner. Really now, that is one of the few comics where I laugh at 60+ percent of them. Thats really hard to do, I'm a stuck up bitch (I don't laugh at that many of my own comics). Well y...

well that was strange. It looks like there was some glitch with the instance of mozilla that I was using (when I got your note I checked again, and had the same problem. so I tried konqueror, and it worked, so I tried shutting down mozilla then starting it back up and it worked) Anyways, thank you v...

I modified my most recent comic then re-uploaded it into the /workspace/comics directory and triggered a full update (I guess I could have used an index update couldn't I? ops) I hadn't removed the comic that was to be replaced as I assumed that it would just be overwritten, this appears to be the c...

There weren't many but why not:

1 2 50.00% assumed failure
2 1 25.00% assumed failure comic
3 1 25.00% retentive power

I was thinking of trying to work with a tablet, but I get the feeling that I would be pretty awkward with it. I have trouble when I don't have somewhere to put my elbows, I like to hover over whatever I'm drawing, that way the paper knows who is in control (usually the paper).

Dip pens led me to confusion (I get pretty easly confused about thing) so I avoided them. I hadn't heard of radiograph techinal pens though, I'll have to look into those.

faub: I tried doing that, and they didn't turn out that bad. However they were really just bigger versions of how I usually draw them. The only extra detail that I put in was a little bit of shading with the gimp, and i used real cross hatching instead of the single line shading I usually do. Would ...

ah, thats what I'm using too. I started out with some that I found in a box in the garage which were pretty close to dead so they made finer lines then new ones. I think I just need to draw everything about 50% bigger.

Anyways, Thanks for the tip.

fine lines

I'm looking for some way to make the lines I draw thinner. Are there particular pens that people use to make really fine lines? Or maybe some way to trim down the lines on the computer? I've been trying to just draw bigger, but I'm having trouble drawing a little larger, and if I draw much larger I ...

The star idea is pretty spiffy (sorry in taking so long to get back to that response). I also really like the bunch of ovals idea, It's something that would put enough difference between speech bubbles and thought bubbles so that it wouldn't be confusing. Many options to choose from. Hopefully later...

I like the idea of making vector shapes. I might look into that if I can avoid making crappy ones that once. The only problem that I see with that is that I'm horrible at placement of characters and such so I would probably end up never being able to fit the shapes that I made. Ovals are becoming mo...

Thought bubbles

As we can tell I'm big on text things :P I'm trying to figure out a way to do thought bubbles now. I could just make an oval with some smaller circles going down to show who is thinking it, but I'm worried that will look too much like my text bubbles and be confusing. So I wanted to find some way to...
