We have not updated. I do not know at this point when we will update next.

Moment is also ill, on top of his job issues, which probably makes it one giant mess at this point.

We've both agreed that nocona still matters and is worthwhile, but at the moment he can't draw it in good faith, I think.

We've been having problems meeting deadline lately due to various and sundry RL issues between the two of us. We're planning on having it up tonight.

We greatly apologize and both are hoping that nocona will continue to live a long life.

You don't have to open up a new thread here for every strip, yanno... Though whoever does open the strip should follow an agreed upon standard on the post title, like the publishing date you've used. I know, I do like to open a thread every so often. Otherwise the forum looks kind of wasteland-like...

Oh, and Cube, Moment: When you filk an existing song ("I feel violent, Oh so violent...") it might be a good idea to make a respectful nod to the original material at the bottom of the strip (where it won't get trimmed off in the archives) - Something like "Apologies to Leonard Bernstein and Stephe...

Well, you have to understand, nocona started with about a year's worth (or more, as it was originally going to be 3 times a week and may get there eventually) written and thought out. Then much of that got thrown out the window as we actually started doing it and thinking of more things to do. There...

9-25-06: Arty weasel. (+ open thread!)

Hi there. I keep forgetting to put forum threads up like a good little admin. We're currently going through a bit of adjustment, trying to find a good balance of pictures and text and size in general. We also took a stab at color, although it still needs some work before going live. Any suggestions ...

09/08/06 - Incoming!

I realize that I should probably be a better forum admin and actually post topics on a per-strip basis. Suffice it to say, we're finally getting the cast of nothing comes naturally back into the picture. :) I think you could actually call this our first little experiment in storytelling over just ra...

8/25/06 - Panic! at the Disco.

You know, it's tricky to build plot and one-liners at the same time. Ah well, will have to whip the writing staff into shape.

...oh, wait.

*blinks* dragoneering? Is that what you call lairshaping these days? Well, it's part engineering, part dungeoneering, part spelunking, part profiteering... so... yeah. :) The Skunk is so hot, I'm totally cosplaying her at the next conference I go to. I may have to take you up on that, as I'm sure I...

Hope everything's OK. Oh, the forums link in the menu bar leads to a page saying you don't have forums yet, by the way. Quoting the Maestro: We just need to learn to prioritize a little bit better. No worries. I'll see if the quick mod I made actually fixes the button. If not, I'll drag Kala from h...

8/22/06 - one day delay!

Can't get gumble-grumble ComicGen to post this correctly. Hi there. Due to RL issues, nocona will be delayed until Wednesday. This should not be a common occurrence, but at this point due to scheduling issues, we're running updates a little close to their creation. Efforts are being made to rectify ...

Oh Gods... Season 0? You ... ugh. It's been too long since we dealt with Season Zero. Ugh, the pain, the pain, the mockups... the painful mockups... *shiver* Mind you, it was much goopier, and there were some advantages to not worrying about the script so much. Actually, for a while it looked like n...

Welcome to Manchester.

Hi there! It looks like we have a forum. I would like to thank Mercury Hat who created this forum in no less than 12 minutes after I posted the request. Thank you and a happy yay! So, I'm Cube. At least I'm not hyper, yet. I'm probably going to be the lead on moderating the forum, quite possibly bec...

Forum Request: nothing comes naturally.

Although we'd like to be nonconformists and go all lowercase with the forum name, we'll understand if that's not possible. We're silly anyway. URL: http://nocona.comicgenesis.com/ Description: This is the story of four characters picked to live in a warehouse and get their lives taped. Find out what...
