Re: Christmas 2022

Here it is. I'm hosting it on my website. I put color in it even though the comic will usually be b&w.

Re: Christmas 2022

Since my comic is main character-less, I drew Santa Claus next to a jukebox (Since the title of my comic is "Jukebox Quiz".) I left it transparent and no background. Where do I send it?

Re: Christmas 2022

Hi all! I thought this place would be dead even though I can still put comics on my website nobody reads. What is a comic jam? I'd like to participate, but I don't know what that is. My comic I'm currently focused on is a Far-Side-esque thing called "Jukebox Quiz." I am running out of comic ideas af...

My comic hasn't been updating

I do a weekly comic and the last one up is for May 12, even though there are ones for May 19, 26, and June 2 in the workspace/comics subsection of my ftp spot. What's going on?

"500 error"

I tried to upload a comic through the siteadmin and I get a blank page with nothing but the words "500 error" on it.

Re: Everything's gone

I just tried IE and it kept telling me it didn't like the password I put on it when I tried to switch it to the mode where I could drag the files into it. After a few dozen tries it finally let me in. This has happened twice so far.

Everything's gone

I used net2ftp to log into my site to add more comics and discovered everything is gone! Yet my comic page and all the comics are still up. What's going on here?

Cool, thanks. I just tried it and works great. I have now bookmarked it.

Can't log into Web FTP

I think I'm probably the only person who uses this, but the web FTP at http://siteadmin.comicgenesis.com:8080/ ... eb-ftp.cgi isn't working. It just keeps thinking about doing something and never actually does anything.

updating files in the public_html folder

I wonder if this has anything to do with the rigamarole of the new thing, but I have tried all three updates and my archives page (which is in the public_html folder) is not updating to the newer version that I had put in there.

I just got a new computer and need the URL for the web-based FTP page again. I tried the search function but it didn't help.

View Stats not updating

I logged in and went to view my statistics only to find out that the statistics page had been last updated February 24, even though my last comic was on March 1. What's going on here?

A dictionary of sorts

Can someone direct me to a page, or tell me what the terms Sites, KBytes, Visits, Pages, Files, and Hits are, in terms of the "view stats" page? (Well, I know what a hit is, but I don't have a clue about the others.)

I'm stumped about icons

I searched through the help center and found a thread about icons. I've even googled "icons" and found a site that told how to put .ico pictures in a website. Well, after doing all of this and updating the comic, it still has the stupid blue "e" on a blank piece of paper icon. I even put this bit of...

Re: Archival pages

OK, it automatically updates. That's the answer to one of my questions, but I have a new one. I tried to put the ***advertisement*** Keentag in my archive page, but instead of displaying an ad, it says "***advertisement***". So, I deleted the keentag, but will put it back up when someone tells me ho...

Archival pages

Suppose I want to make a page containing links to all my comic strips I've done. Is there a better way than what I've already got (look at the source code): http://chrisread.comicgenesis.com/archives.html Also, suppose I want to update this page. Which of the three updates would be best to do this w...
