follow up

Perhaps you should consider doing more character development too. When I draw cartoons of people in my notebook/sketchbook a lot of them are more or less generic looking. But when I draw a figure that looks like he/she has character, they jump out at me and tell me there name. Which I did! That pie...

Well, I thought maybe I should add? Here's a sketch with some very quick colouring (fifteen minutes colouring this!). Oh, click on his face to see more of his body ... no, he's clothed (he'd never do something like that!) <a href="http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p133/majorneurosis/kevcopy.jpg"><i...

Hey everyone! Thanks for taking the time out to place your input or opinions for me, it's really appreciated, and given me a lot of fodder to ruminate on. It looks to me like you are doing a semi-real life type comic and in real life, nobody gets to pick their name. It's given by the parents, so you...

What's behind a name?

I justed sketched some rough concept portraits for a webcomic I've been wanting to do. Just ... what names would you give them? What is behind a name anyway, and is the name of a character important in your comic? I find choosing a suitable name difficult. http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/7051/sam...
