Hiatus

Evening, everybody. I'm afraid that Sharper is going on an unavoidable hiatus for the time being, and while I hope to resume it when I can, I can't give a timetable on its return. Basically, I've had new job opportunities arise at the same time as increased demands on my time from other projects, an...

For anyone who missed it...

I'm doing a lot of renovation and tweaking of the front page over the next few days (with my schedule right now, probably the next couple of weeks), so you'll see a few minor changes/improvements. One of them, up now, is a tagboard right towards the bottom of the front page -- much easier than havin...

I go to local conventions as a guest, and while I was tempted to let web/print comic stars know who I am, I was afraid that they would tell me I was a degenerate unfit to draw breath for making, and so shamelessly promoting a typical rude/sarcastic-bastard-looks-down-on-everything-comic. So I say n...

Nope, no holidays or hiatuses. Especially not now that CG's servers are actually working again and updates can go up ON TIME... :)

But that's the intention; there isn't suppose to be an emotional attachment at all. If the reader can't see my chracters as just puppets used to illustrate something, then they are becoming far too involved with the comic and devloping an unhealthy attachment to something that that doesn't exist. T...

Updates are Back!

They're still futzing with the server migration, but it looks like I can manually update, so as of right now Sharper is back on the Monday-Wednesday-Friday schedule. Sorry for the delay, folks.

there are somthing on the order of 30 to 40 "settings" for expressions Alas, there could be a billion possible settings/toggles and it still wouldn't help cross that valley: getting real-feeling expressions is the #1 problem I've faced doing a CGI comic, and I'm way, WAY far from finding a workable...

Update on Updates

Okay, the updater unclogged and Wednesday's comic is finally up. Hopefully Friday will actually go up on, well, Friday. :) Word is that ComicGenesis is getting a new server very soon, so hopefully these delays will be a thing of the past.

I was at a restaurant once when a friend with me pointed across the room. Getting up to leave was a man who looked, and dressed, -exactly- like one of my major characters. It was a very creepy moment.

Just a note regarding updates...

It's not my fault! :) Updates have been running late because the cgen updater is being perpetually clogged this month, for reasons yet to be explained. So Wednesday's comic went up Thursday, and today's comic... Well, it ain't here yet, but I uploaded it yesterday so it will be appearing as soon as ...

Huh? That's not true. The world is full of organizations that overdo the concept of political correctness and use it to just plain harras others. You can see it at work just by noticing how cast of every tv show made nowadays has to be racially and sexually diverse, or by how old Disney comics and ...
