Copying From FTP to HDD

Ok, so the hard-drive containing all my comic data died in mid-backing up procedure and as a result has annihilated every file I had for my comic. So what I was wondering was if there's a way to copy the comics I've already uploaded to Comic Genesis onto my computer so that I at least have a hard-co...

google analytics works pretty well for tracking info.
I'm sure it would be if it wasn't harder to install than the CERN device.

Re: o o o Can't Log into SiteAdmin? Read this thread! o o o

One thing I've been wondering, and I'll put it here for the sake of space and not wanting to create a new thread just for it, is what happened to the site-traffic-tracker? I recently managed to get back on the CG Site Admin page for my comic after finding a txt file on my PC with the password to it,...

Re: Can't log in to FTP server

Speaking of which, I recently re-installed my PC and need to know what password + username + host I need to put in my FTP program.

I would check the wiki, but the damn thing's broken...forgive my feebleness, but my strip's already a day late.

Site Index Not Displaying

Hey there fellow-comic-people, there is something strange going on with my site. The main page is displaying as a plain white page, at the top of which are the following characters: -- ~ --> Now, at first I thought it was because the system was updating as I read about that happening, but I've check...

Re: o o o Can't Log into SiteAdmin? Read this thread! o o o

Hey, one question...how do I find out what time a day my strip updates? I only ask because I, in my infinite wisdom, managed to lock myself out of the Admin page and have been relying upon my FTP to update since last October. I know it does update, but I thought it was at midnight GMT.

Re: o o o Can't Log into SiteAdmin? Read this thread! o o o

Now, I have requested a new one and reactivated it this morning... Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but by changing the password, you locked yourself out of SiteAdmin. Any new accounts created after May or any existing accounts that change their password after May get locked out of SiteAdmin due...

Re: o o o Can't Log into SiteAdmin? Read this thread! o o o

I lost my password some time ago. Now, I have requested a new one and reactivated it this morning so I could upload a new comic to my site. However, all attempts to log into Admin have failed in the three hours of myself trying. I've tried deleting cookies, refreshing screens, upper-case-lower-case,...

Cheers for the comments dude. I know what you mean about the characters being hard to tell apart, I've had a few other people say that. I have tried quite hard to make them look unique to each other, but it is a wee bit harder when they've got no clothes or other identifying stuff. However, thanks a...

Might as well

Well I've been putting this off, but I'm ultra bored so what the hey, eh? My comic's name is Woods For The Trees and it's been going (at times slowly) since Feb 2006. http://woodsforthetrees.comicgenesis.com/ The strip is about three friends that live in and around the wooded hills of a fictional ru...

Depending on how many characters are in each panel, poses I'm unfamiliar with, and my own lethargy, it takes between 1.5 to 3 hours to sketch, ink, scan, clean, and post my comic.

I'll just be glad if after this server malarky that anyone still bothers reading my comic, considering I used to have about 171 unique visitors a day on average.

It's probably me and two other people now.
