Mine take something like 3 days, 7 hours or more a day, if I'm really pushing myself and have a short strip or one I can use some shortcuts in. Longer strips obviously have taken me much longer. I am trying to get faster, but I wound up with coloring jobs on the last two that I'm pretty unhappy with...

Health has been my one and only reason. When you have days where you sleep for 12 hours, just doing regular stuff can be difficult, let alone a comic. Working on changing that, tho.

I think there IS a note somewhere about AOL users not being able to access certain parts of CG, but don't quote me on it. 600 dpi??? Egads man, take that dpi count DOWN!! Mine are 72 dpi full color GIFs and they look just fine. 600 dpi is not only going to be far bigger than the size of your reader'...

I'll take a wait and see approach, without holding my breath.

I seriously hope that Pixar is allowed some freedom with its stories. If they get Disney-fied I will lose all hope for the industry.
Me too...tho I bet Pixar films will look like McDisney's current crop in about 5 years. :-?

The rating is set on the same page you designate the update times, etc. At least that's where I found something like that...

Tested it, and it looks like doing the matte with either Netscape Gray or 50% Gray works the best. Thanks!!

My guess is that you don't have a matte colour set when you're saving for web. In order to preserve anti-aliasing on edges surrounded by transparency, GIFs need to use a matte colour. In your case just set the matte colour to #C0C0C0 and you should be ok. What's the color name? When I looked into t...

I have anti-aliasing turned off for all layers, but after your suggestion I tried doing the opposite. Still didn't work - either way. Guess I'll be going with your other suggestion unless I can come up with something else. Or going with another font outside of the panels, one that doesn't do that. T...

Transparency and Fonts

Hiya! My current comic at http://seekerlets.comicgenesis.com is a good example of my problem. The fonts in the transparent areas pixellated, while the rest did not. Can someone help me with this? Here's what I do, in Photoshop: 1. Sketch, then scan the pencils in at 300dpi grayscale, convert to RGB....

I signed up on the 29th, got the confirmation emails and did the code thing...but I'm apparently having the same problem as Plague. But what I want to ask is, where's this 'signup status page' at? I keep looking everywhere I can think of, can can't find anything like that.
