Incidentally, the last option on that list, http://decypher.comicgen.com/keendrop/, gives an "Unauthorized access. " error.

So, considering that I never got a reply, either by e-mail or via this thread, is it safe to say that this is defunct?

BBComposer

http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b201/LauraSeabrook/Avatars/GardenHat.gif Do you use Firefox ? If you do, there's an extension available that allows you to create and edit postings in WYSIWYG mode, rather than hand coding with BBCode. It's called BBComposer it allows you to swap to a wysiswyg wind...

Actually, I did a bit of playing around. I created a sub page of Laura Seabrook's Web Comix/Apocryphal Tales (one of the strips at my pages) and then moved... [[Category:Urban Legends|Apocryphal Tales]] ...to that page, removing it entirely from the original page. The category now shows... A * Laura...

Wiki Categories - adding sub-strips question

My webciomic features different strips, rather than just one continuing strip (an "Anthology" category maybe?). I've been updating my wiki page and wanted to add entries under appropriate categories for the individual strips. For example, I've put... [[Category:Science Fiction|Future Imperfect]] for...

Well my jaw dropped after checking it out. Very nicely done. Mind you, that doesn't tell you anything constructive. About the only other cgi comic I can compare it to is Ask Dr Eldritch but that has a very "toy figure" look about it (and for all I know it's all photographed straight from toys). One ...

Re: GLBT Dropdown

To qualify for this dropdown you must: Have an otherly oriented or gender bending artist/author OR currently have an otherly oriented or gender bending central character. Hmmm, here's the thing - I'm trans, but the comic I have is an "anthology" one, where I have different stories (with different c...

Gasp - really good stuff from everyone. I'm no expert at angel. I have drawn one, based on a friend... http://images.picpile.com/uploads/tn976825209.gif ...and in this case, the wings were based on a stone set of them, from a Cathedral in France. I've also done a "fallen angel" which was me after th...

Which is trange, because the previous (20th Feb) comic used the same technique, and it worked!

I remade the image cutting out the background, which halved the image size, used IMG to show it, made the background black, and uploaded stuff again. Now it works!

How strange. Down at the university yesterday (where I used both Firefox and IE to check it) I couldn't see any image. At home (where I'm using Maxthon, an IE overlay) the background comes up as WHITE (and if I try saving it I get a 1x1 pixel jpeg)!

And yet you have no problems with it? Bizarre.

Mystery in Space?

OK, I was going to try something fancy with XHTML and CSS for the 22nd Feb installment at http://lauraseabrook.comicgenesis.com/ however there seems to be a glitch - the main image doesn't show! The CSS trick was to use the image as a background to a DIV, and it works on my local copies. I thought i...

I'm confused here - is it Autokeen or Wolfkeen that I currently use to update on ComicGenesis? Whichever it is, that's the one I meant.

You could use daily notes , but the advantage of this would be that once you set up your dropdown.txt file, it'd be done automatically. Also, it would free up daily notes for things like announcements that aren't directly connected with the comic production (e.g. "On holidays until next week"). Acco...

Tag Suggestion : ***story_title***

Not sure if this is the right place to suggest a new tag for autokeen or not, but here it is. I'm suggesting that a new tag called ***story_title*** be created. What does it do? Like ***story_archive*** it reads dropdown.txt in the /data folder. But, instead of producing a dropdown list, it finds th...
