My apologies for this late reply. Necron Lords are not special characters. The Nightbringer and the Deceiver are both special characters. On page 27 of the Necron Codex, it lists special characters you can take. This reads as 0-1 C'tan. So you may take either the Nightbringer or the Deceiver. You in...

As I remember, the Nightbringer is a special character. We generally don't play with special characters, only regular army lists.

ETA: And I'd probably just concentrate on making you phase out. Wouldn't bother trying to kill every single one of your units.

Space Wolves on tabletop, I alternate between Space Marines and IG in DoW. Haven't tried the newest expansion. For my Space Wolves, I generally have to turtle cause I'm outnumbered severely (my friends play Eldar and 'nids). I've got a Wolf Lord, Space Wolves Venerable Dreadnaught, three full squads...

As I remember, modern fighter jets turn instability into agility through their electonic flight control packages. The jet, through design, is constantly trying to move in pretty much every direction at once. Computers keep it on the course that the pilot dictates. When the pilot says move, the compu...

Tar Sands and Oil Shale are two potention sources of fossil fuels. The technology exists to extract refineable products from them, but there are high costs assosciated with the extraction and refining. Canada does a good bit with Tar Sand, but they've also got some of the densest concentrations of T...

To sort of bring this back on topic, when firing in a self-defense situation, you aim for center of mass hoping to do enough damage to vital organs or damage the spine/CNS, or you fire for the head hoping to damage the brain/CNS. Were Quentyn to shoot the guy in the jewels/attempt to do so, it may j...

At point blank range #9 Bird Shot is quite lethal. It is used for in home defense because it won’t completely penetrate the bad guy or most walls. Bullshit. Birdshot as a Defense Load I have had a lot of questions, summed up as follows: How effective is birdshot (#4, #6, #8, etc.) as a defense load...

Likely the safety or selector switch. You don't yell "back off" while pulling the trigger.

You, sir, get my meaning. The other guy didn't. Lazy people--the smart lazy people--do it right the first time. One shot, one kill. So a good gunman will be both lazy and cheap--lazy because he doesn't want to have to pull that trigger more times than he absolutely must, and cheap because, well, am...

Kit: I wasn't talking about gangers, I was talking about young shooters/gunowners in general, who seem to have missed the whole "aiming" lesson in favor of the "see how fast it goes" mentality. Basically - the more ammo in the magazine, the more rounds per minute, the "cooler" the gun. (I should no...

They're all about MAC10s and Uzis and AR15s and Glocks. A MAC10? Does that have a boxlike appearance, by any chance? Disregarding that it wasn't actually me that sad that, a quick search on Wikipedia reveals this picture, which shows that it is rather box-like. The article indicates that the MAC10 ...
