Re: ORDER TOWNER COMICS - THE COMPLETE COLLECTION BOOK TODAY!
In addition to Towner's first complete collection trade paperback, I have already published my children's book - with writer/co-creator, Robert "RB" Buchanan - and I am in the midst of publishing all of my old comic archives AND my newest thriller/action/adventure/mystery/suspense/romance/drama ('li...

Re: ChrusherComix: Getting absolutely no buzz except 1 critic!?
I think you may get more readers if you have a "Recap" page that gives a short synopsis of every issue. Also, it may be wise to have the Characters and Message board (and possibly "Recap" icons on the top of the comic rather than below it. :) I do have not one, not two, but three recap pages here: ...

Re: ChrusherComix: Getting absolutely no buzz except 1 critic!?
yeah. Critics hated StarWars too when it originally came out. Well, I never get anybody loooking at my comics enough to even rate or critique them. They just ignore them entirely. I don't know if that's better or worse. I think worse because I don't know if anybody likes them other than my friends,...

The 3rd Era of ChrusherComix has begun!
Due to a rejected animation project in late 2006/early 2007, late-Winter/Spring/early-Summer seasonal work in my family home business and my hobby racing go-karts (and doing their stats, DVDs and website) , my Graphic Novel was delayed MUCH longer than I had ever anticipated. And although I had over...

Hee hee, Dizzy is awesome. ^^ Haha, thanks! He's based after both my best friend and my own twisted side. What can I say? Bookmarked!!! I like the artwork. It definitely reminds me of Calvin & Hobbes, but that's a good thing. You're no hack. Wow! Thanks! I was deeply influenced by C&H and I always ...

Re: comic book art based on a holy book
Usually, when I go to a forum I get comments. A few are pats on the back, but most relate to controversy. People ask about my “ white messiah” - why is Jesus so white? They take issue with Jesus “hitting a girl with a stick”. They wonder why the devil looks like a woman, BUT PEES STANDING UP!!! Wel...

Unjustified criticism is always painful, but more or less involves a bit of jealousy, which is almost like a compliment. If it's justified criticism, then I always take it as a challenge to improve my work. If it's nasty, negative, or cruel, I'll use that anger to fuel my next work. If it's positive...

I like it a lot. I'm a Christian and it's refreshing to see a Biblical comic that doesn't mock God or millions of people's religious beliefs. I don't know how many I've seen that just bash away (usually with mindless cliches too). And don't feel bad if nobody says anything... nobody ever says anythi...

Strange. I guess Towner comics suck or something? :(
Very few people read Towner. And nobody says anything at all about it.

ChrusherComix: Getting absolutely no buzz except 1 critic!?
OK, I was putting off "introducing" ChrusherComix until I got all of my back-issues up. I was intending to color every issue from The Introduction of the Welphys (that took place in the 2nd half of my "Quickie-Comic" series) through all of the Lunaticial Storyline (that took place in The RaYzor’s Ed...

There seems to be a lull in the ammount of comments people are dispensing these days. Some day it'll turn around, but until then, don't take it personally. Thanks. I hope people will read and like the humor. It has puzzled me for quite some time that my friends love Chrusher and nobody else seems t...

Yea, it's right here in the faq. http://cgwiki.comicgenesis.com/index.php/Frequently_Asked_Questions Ah, thank you. Hmm... I never knew this. Had them for almost a year and nobody said anything. I guess I'll have to remove them next update. They do little good anyway... a failed experiment that mad...

Ah, see you don't like McFarlane which explains why you feel uncomfortable with my inking style. He, Michael Turner, Art Adams, and the Jim Lee/Scott Williams team were my biggest influences. Surprised that you don't care for inking on that women bumper page... as I was heavily influenced by Mike Tu...

I do totally love it when people have massive archives of work going back to their teenage years like this, I have to admit. Thanks. Actually, I wished that more webcomics do this. When I see webcomics with just a few months or a couple of years in the archive, I usually don't bother looking much. ...

Chrusher Comix:
Chrusher Comix: http://geocities.com/ChrisChrusher/images/ChrusherMed2.jpg With a 1,000+ comic book page archive, ChrusherComix has been my sketchbook with a storyline for years. I started it as a 14-year old in 1988 (making me, I guess, one of the older webcomickers), but it was not debuted until 2...
