Filezilla help

On the suggestions of a few other cartoonists I downloaded Filezilla to help me go back and edit a few old pages of my cartoon. Up until now I have done seven years of comics entirely through the website updates. Does anyone have a handy tutorial link of how to use Filezilla to upload onto comicgen?

Fiddlesticks. Well, thank you for your help, Spoon, et al. I guess I'll have to give that a try, unless anyone out there has any other ideas.

Re: Stupid cartoonist with stupid question. Please help.

That sounds great, except the last time I tried using any sort of FTP program to alter my site I almost wound up erasing my website complete. Considering the age in which we live I am unforgivably computer-ignorant. So if there IS some way to erase old files through the standard update page I'd real...

Stupid cartoonist with stupid question. Please help.

I am trying to go back and delete some old strips (for a week there are two copies on a page, for some reason). Unfortunately, I cannot seem to FIND the public_html/comic folder or the public_html/d folder in my comic page and it is frustrating me. I know this is possible because it's in the Wiki, a...

Re: Can't log in to FTP server

I figured it out!

I was finally able to get into https://siteadmin.comicgenesis.com. I can only upload one comic at a time but the point is I can upload, so I'm happy.

Re: Can't log in to FTP server

I also tried the ftp://username:password@66.220.2.20 suggestion and was able to get to an index of all my comics, but there was no apparent way to upload or add to anything there, which is what I really need to do

Re: Can't log in to FTP server

I am having exactly the same problem! I have been trying to update this in /workspace/comics (just like the old web-ftp) and tried it in /public/comics as well, but I keep getting this message: "An error has occurred Could not generate a temporary file." Details of the error are identical: The error...

Changing webpage

I am trying to update my comic page and make it look all pretty, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do it! I am using the basic FTP butch server program that comicgen provides. I have tried updating indextemplate, dailytemplate in public and workspace but NOTHING IS HAPPENING! What do...

Help! I can't log in! I've got my screenname and password but every time I try to log in it automatically resets the screen. Except to get in here, which is kinda weird. Any ideas?

HI. I feel like an idiot for not being able to get past the opening page, but, well, there you are. I have submitted the info for my comic like 6 times now, and every time I hit "VERIFY" it resets everything and I can't go any farther. Please help!
