Fuck yeah it is-- just look at Shandy and the sheep's relationship. It's a perfect analogy to that one person of the opposite gender you once met over the internet and found yourself inexplicably infatuated with-- you didn't know anything *really* about the other person, not even their real gender, ...

What deep and meaningful questions you raise, Jackhass. I am reminded of perhaps Kafka's Metamorphosis, if for no other reason than I read that book in high school and had no frickin' idea what the hell it was about by the end so if nothing else saying it's about a bunch of captive animals emulating...

How do you do it anyways? Not sure how to respond to that, but I find using a size 2 brush with no scattering or shape design or anything like that keeps the lines from blurring too much. Of course, the real problem is that there's very little friction between your stylus pen and your tablet surfac...

Actually, CAS, I don't scan at all. I swear by Photoshop, and my WACOM tablet. All my work is done on that these days. Why, does it look penciled and inked? I guess that'd be a good thing? As for size, since I'm going for the best compression-to-quality ratio possible, I'm concerned about 56k users ...

I most definately plan on having both frames and speech bubbles in the final version. Like I said, I just wanted to post my rough draft real quickly before I left for the day, so I didn't bother to box off everything and encircle lines of dialogue like I probably should have. I usually draw all my i...

A critique, si vous plait.
So, I'm packing all my art stuff for a nice leisurely day out on the town figure-drawing, and I figured I'd go ahead and run this by all you fine folks. I decided to make a web comic about a bunch of people that play roleplaying games a lot. Whenever they're playing, the comic usually switches from ...

I'd work on coming up with better punchlines. Agreed, here. Your strips did have me grinning to myself like an idiot, but that was because I just got such a kick out of the crazy, erratic way they're drawn-- it's humorous, in a way, but I agree with Subhuman that you could apply better anatomy and ...

Congrats! That's a big accomplishment, no matter what anyone says. Even at a strip a day (no small accomplishment), you're talking two months of existence. And, of course, since not many strips get updated like that, you're usually talking anymore. Hmm, are you accepted anniversity fan art......

Okay, well... ... I wasn't around for your pass through the first time, but. I do like your humor. The Batman strip had me chuckling outloud, which short of somethingawful.com isn't an easy thing to accomplish. But how about a proper introduction for some of the characters? I don't really know names...

It's horribly cliche and really, really over-used, but have you considered a silhouette ? There's a certain emotion, a certain je ne sais pas , that the silhouette of someone standing atop a sea of corpses, swords and halberds and spears and flags sticking up all around them can give (at least, it c...

Those pages from the Conan monthly are an excellent example of how detail lessens the further away objects and people are from the viewer. The most important thing is to remember your composition and don't clutter your picture with so much foliage that it gives the reader too much to look at. Use th...
