Personally...

I gotta say, yeah. My comic challenges me at every turn. Now if you head over and take a look you will see that it is not because of the lavish production values. See, I am not a visual artist. At least that is not my forte, though I do try. My comic is a very clear progression of my sketching skill...

Thanks a ton for the advice! I'm not sure what I can do with a new program, I've been using Photoshop. On the other hand, I sketch my comics, than ink them, than scan. The only things I've been using the program for so far are scanning, cropping and placing the panels, and than setting the type. The...

Turning tricks... And tips!

Er... well the thread title is there to catch attention, and because I don't spend very much time at all on forums and am never sure how to start these off... Anyway, I write and draw (and do, you know all the rest of the stuff for) Hey Fox . I posted around six months ago, asking for style suggesti...

I read through your archive, I've got your comic bookmarked. Now, (since this is like critique and review area right?) I did enjoy the comedy, and the characters (especially the worm), but I'm afraid it doesn't really stand out very much. There are a lot of interesting comics out here, and yours hol...

I suppose I hadn't really thought about it that way. Thanks a lot, I think I'm going to try to get a more solid hold on a consistent feel to the timeline. And ya, go back and fill in some of those holes. Thanks a ton!

Hey Fox, at the very least, you'll laugh!

Hey everybody! I've been producing (I write and draw) <a href=http://heyfox.comicgenesis.com>Hey Fox</a>, over at http://heyfox.comicgenesis.com for a bit more than a year now. I've come a LONG way, visually speaking, from where I started and I've come to something of an impasse. There's obviously a...

They guy who draws Hey Fox...

That's actually right. I am, the afore mentioned, guy who draws Hey Fox. I made two pogs because I was trying to figure out what looked better. I put up a BnW one, than worked on a colour one. I figured the second would replace the first when I uploaded it, but both ended up posting. Having not noti...

So, I improved the site (I think), and tried some of that whole background thing. Does this little bit help, or is it just not enough?

Loved it!

Great stuff.

Art can (allays) improve, but I never had to wonder what I was looking at, which is more than I can say for many comics out there. :: grin ::

Can't wait to see more!

Good stuff! I just dug through the archive. You've got some great potential here. The artwork is pleasant, though you could use some work on shape and proportions. I like the colour, and more over the different uses of colour. I very much enjoyed what of the story is there so far, and can't wait to ...

Thanks everybody!

Hey all. Thanks a lot! (problem with text here, it may sound sarcastic. I'm not being sarcastic, I really mean this.) The critiques are very appreciated! I know I should work on my site design. Ten years ago, I could kick some arse with HTML, these days I can hardly center text. I guess I've let my ...

What do you think?

Hey everybody! I tried a a pitch here a long time ago (when I'd just had a couple months up.) But all anybody looked at was the one comic I posted with the request... So this time I'm trying again. I've been up for just over a year now! Ok, so I'm proud of that... anyway: For a quick sample, here's ...

Good work!

Wow! I like your art a lot! Great use of shading. I only dipped a bit into the plot, but your writing seems strong too. Good work!

Only critique might be on the older comics, the print got a bit small and hard to read sometimes.

Thanks again!

Thanks for the advice, and you're right, this one is certenly lacking in style, but it was drawn very early on. More I'm wondering about the comics that are up now, and in the archive. Thanks much tho!

Much fun

I certainly enjoyed your comic. As a White Guy (Gui lo? Gei Jin?) I'm obviously a bit out of the loop on some of the jokes but having also spent a lot of time at friends houses and there fore in the midst of some fairly traditional Chinese and Japanese family situations, I defiantly laughed a lot! Yet another comic to pitch...

Hey all, First off, the <a href=http://heyfox.keenspace.com>comic</a> is called Hey Fox. It's a furry comic, the art's pretty ho-hum... well, you'll see if you look. At this point it's just funny (I hope) single shots, but there is a more continuous story line about to begin. I'll be honest, I post ...
