If you're gonna bait a hook, at least bait it with SOMETHING other than "no promises"! That ain't gonna get you very far very quick.
Would you rather I lied? In all honesty, I can't promise anything.

I know this is probably the wose way to get an artist, folks, but I've never done this before, so I couldn't think of very many options for pitching this.

Thanks for the Deviantart suggestion, man.

What is "General Error"?

I've been trying to post something up and for a while now, and it keeps saying "General Error" and refuses to post it.

I'm not too worried about popularity. we'll update and update this comic until the end even if no one ever, ever, EVER reads it! Part of the reason I'm doing is because I'm hoping to try to start revitalizing super heroes in places other than the big screen, because it seems like there's been a huge...

...

I have planned enough ahead with the story I can easily make this story last seven TV show seasons without losing any overall quality. Sounds arrogant, I know, but I've been planning the comic fot a long time. I just lack the resources to get it made. My partner and I know exactly where we want this...

This thread is just "oy".

As much as I'm loving this: This thread could easily be used as an argument against chatrooms.

Me, too. I always enjoyed the "Batman" comics and such more when it was just Batman and no Robin. Robin, as far as I'm concerned, is a hero character in his own right.

I never said that there was anything wrong with there being a lot of stuff that's obviously based off of RPGs. It's just an observation I made. Well, there's no hero inthe group that's particularly more powerful than the rest. There's an uber-tough one, due to his incredibly high ranks in Absorption...

Yeah, except...Madtarnsman...I like telling a good story. I'm a born fictional writer. It's my passion, and it's what I'm best at.

Well, the reason I ask about romance arks is because it could very easily happen in the webcomic idea my friend and I have going here.

Not...necessarily. For instance, my character has an alter ego that's mentally retarded. (Yeah, it's been done in FLOWERS FOR ALGERNON, but not in a comic book.) I have a few other ideas that haven't been done before. Even in regular comics, there are new ideas---for instance, RUNAWAYS, which has t...

Well, for one thing: I know this isn't going to be easy to answer, but what are some good tips to avoid making potential romances and/or back stories sappy.

I have a feeling I'll probably be needing more info, so instead of making a new thread about this: I'll just bump this one up.

Trust me, there is no other super hero group like the one I've got worked up with my futute co-author. As for costumes...well: Guy #1: Jeans, white tennis shoes, and a black T-Shirt. Guy #2: Red overcoat, blue spendex underneath (he's the only one.) Guy #3: Whatever. Girl: Single piece body suit. Th...
