The comicgen ads

My computer has never shown the Comicgen ad at the top of my comic. I'd actually like to see it so I can see what other readers are seeing. Can anyone tell me what setting on my computer I can tweak to allow the ad to show up?

Thanks. :D

Invisible Backgrounds

Darnit, I used to know how to do this, but I've completely forgotten. Can someone remind me how to make the background of an image invisible in Photoshop? Turning this... http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/8967/lastday2oy.jpg Into this... http://img117.imageshack.us/img117/8721/lastday0uo.png Thanks!

And Thunt the reason you see your comic three times is that you added it three times - I did stuff like that too on accident. Just delete two of them. No, it won't delete your comic; just the entry in your list of comics. Ah, I was afraid to delete two of 'em cause that's exactly what I was worried...

I'm pretty sure you can only see how many comics are queued in the old siteadmin (which is incidentally why I still have it bookmarked, though I use the new one to actually update). Also, the amount of queued comics seems to be counting down now. The old one is just a blank screen for me now. I get...

I just don't get it. Where can I see how many comics are queued? And why is my comic listed 3 times?

How Much Bandwidth Can Comicgen Keep Forking Out?

I'm just curious about how Comicgen can continue to be so generous with their unlimited bandwidth for free. I'm using up a pretty hefty amount myself and there's this little voice in the back of my head that's saying "Dude, Comicgen is gonna be so mad when they realize how much bandwidth you're eati...

Yet Another Tediuos Adsense Question (but with a twist)

I've noticed that the blog I have on my site offers a chance to place Adsense on it. On the blog itself, not on my site. You see, my blog is a seperate window within my index page. So I'm curious, would placing Adsense within the confines of my blog window count as advertising on my Comicgen site? I...

Creating Thumbnails

I'm not sure if this should go in Tips and Tricks, or here, but...

Does anyone know how to create little thumbnail pics that one can click on and open a full sized version of that pic?

Thanks.

Hmmm, this sounds like the easiest way to go, but Paypal is already taking a chunk out of what I'm making and I'd prefer to avoid giving up even more of that cash if possible. But your suggested way might be the best way to go, thanks.

Creating A 'pay to read' Situation

So I've been working on a 9 page mini-comic based off of my main webcomic. I'm going to be offering it to readers for a $3.00 donation. My question is this... What is the best way to get that mini-comic to the readers who have donated? Zip it and then email to them? Or is there a better way? Thanks ...

Anyone else noticing a small dip in unique visits this week? I'm thinking it might be because of exams. But then again, maybe I've peaked. lol
