Re: Sizing Pages
There really isn't any particular standard, but generally whatever you post on the internet should be no wider than 800 pixels, which is the width of the smallest common screen resoloution in use. Any wider than that, and it will cause the readers with an 800x600 rez to get that annoying horizontal ...

This page has everything you need to know about setting up domains on CG, including who to contact. Hope it helps. :D

Re: linking to comicgenesis from other sites?
...Um, BLARGH. Sorry. Somehow I missed seeing this topic before I replied, and it deals with pretty much the exact same thing I was just talking about =| Seems the method I just suggested isn't quite as easy to pull off as it used to be. Well, that's lame. Again, considering that a lot of people sti...

Re: linking to comicgenesis from other sites?
First of all, you can change the index page. You could set the code from "Chapterframeset.html" as the index template -- in other words, the index template doesn't have to contain a comic page, and you can do whatever you like with it. Obviously this isn't quite the way CG was intended to be used, b...

***keenspace_alert***? [solved]
I still have the ***keenspace_alert*** tag on my pages. Should I keep it there, or is it depreciated now? If so, is there a more "modern" equivalent which I can replace it with, or is that functionality gone alltogether?
Thanks
Thanks

Suddenly I have to hard refresh to make updates show?
I've never had to hard refresh to see updates before, but suddenly, overnight, I have to do it for every single comic on the CG server. What's up with that? I'm aware of this topic by Kisai, but I see it's dated from August, and as I mentioned, I've only starting having this problem in the last few ...

You should be thankful! I would KILL to have four myselfs working on my comic. I have no clue why it's doing that @o You could try logging in at Ye Olde Siteadmin , clicking Authors Edit/View, then editing the Author Name field. On the other hand, that may explode stuff, since the old siteadmin is d...

Holy crap! It... it works! IT WORKS!! :o This is the first time in like six months I can get in! I didn't expect that to work--nothing else has-- so when it DID, I nearly pissed myself! Man, this has made my week. My month even. Kisai, Dr Neo Lao, can't thank you enough for helping us out on this. Y...

Exactly. We're not just goofballs who keep making case mistakes or putting in the wrong passwords over and over again. It seems there's a group of us who still can't login, despite already trying everything obvious and following mod guidance. In my case, login to my particular account has now failed...

Sorry for responding so late! I had a house guest. I did as you said. I am in fact able to log into the wiki with BOTH kaourika and ka0urika. Siteadmin still refuses to function, however. One interesting thing is that even when I log in with all lowercase, it still caps the first letter of my name i...

I just tried ka0urika on other computers; still no login. Do you think I should make yet more posts with it first, or should 2 be sufficient? If you'd like, I'll PM you the PW for that account, too, if you want to try it on your platform. So far, though... between 2 forum accounts, and 6 computers, ...

Argh!! Sorry to waste your time, then. Thanks once more for doing that, though. Couldn't have figured it out without you. Right, I think it's safe to conclude there's something borked with my account. Well, I'll contact the admins... I just saw your old Keenspace account theory in that other thread;...

There have been two or three "not been around for a while" accounts that used to be on keenspace that seem to have had trouble during the big server move. (The CG server was replaced during your absence). The only thing I can think of is that old accounts need to have something done to them when mo...

Nope - I couldn't get in either... I'd say that this one has reached the stage where it's okay to PM either Kisai or Stredwolf. Make sure you include relavent info and links to some of the supporting posts around here. This one is beyond my ability to help. Sorry... Thanks a lot for trying that out...

Well, this error seems pretty out of this galaxy :D I suck so much. Yup. =/ It's just good ol' http://siteadmin.comicgenesis.com/ . No special characters in the PW; only letters and numbers. Tonight, I changed it to be only letters, just in case. Still no luck. Unfortunately the 3 PCs I tested it on...
