Re: Siteadmin, Forum Username invalid

I've been a member since 2002, and I've never had a problem before. I last used it in Feb of 2008. But now no matter what I try, I get the same error: Your browser did not return the expected response Jakkal Referred from: http://siteadmin.comicgenesis.com/?&logout User Agent(Browser) reports it is:...

Returning user -> Problem with Site Admin

I haven't posted a comic on my site since Feb of 08. I had no problem getting into Site Admin before and I haven't changed my username or anything. The issue that I'm having seems to be with my browser, at least that's what Site Admin thinks: Your browser did not return the expected response Jakkal ...

I've been using cafepress since my comic started, around 2002ish. So far, I've really liked them (I just wish they gave me more of the cut). The benefit of cafepress is that it doesn't cost anything up front. The disadvantage of cafepress is that because it doesn't cost anything up front, they take ...

Looking at a screen and drawing on a tablet seems like it could be challenging at first. If you can do it with a mouse, you can do it with a wacom. I've been using a tablet since 2001 or so. I don't think I could ever go back. But I do a lot of digital painting, so a wacom is damn near a necessity ...

I don't really care about the art quality on mine (so long as people know what's going on). So speed is more important than quality. 10 minutes to sketch, 15 to ink and shade, 1-2hrs to color on Photoshop 30 minutes to add effects, text and layout. I work on each comic the day Black Tapestries updat...

Rating your comic doesn't work. I've toggled between all the options. Ran updates. Ran full updates. I'm just this -> || short of removing the ads from my site completely. Black Tapestries got fixed last night when Kisai herself took a peek at the account. But Kaerwyn's comic (kaerwyn.comicgenesis.c...

Did you guys change your mind or what? Did my site suddenly turn NC17 and I didn't know it?

Why are those fucking hentai ads back?

I'd like to keep crimsonfury.comicgenesis.com That's the only inactive account I have.

Hopefully I'll be able to start uploading to it again when inspiration hits me.

I was just about to bitch about this as well. Seems like all the 'mature' comics are getting nailed with the porn ads.

That's something that definitely makes me want to pack up my toys and leave.

Number in Queue (Including yours if waiting):7461

Mine's been in since 10:30pm, it's currently 5am. The number has only risen, hasn't gone down at all.

Someone get the digital draino.

I think if you shaded under both eyes a little more and gave a hint of cheekbone definition, it would look a little less "flat."

I make my comic for my own amusement, not for my readers. I think it's just a perk that other people like my work as well. If you're not doing it for yourself, that might be a problem. Also, I take a week's break between issues so I can clear my head, get my thoughts together, and work on the next i...

It takes me about 5-6hours to do a page for BT. That's from writing it, sketching it, inking it, coloring it, and then doing the PS editing.

As they say, "There's no such thing as bad press on the internet". My comic started out with a hit explosion when someone on a popular mailing list said I stole his work and such with it. At first I was pissed, but then I realized that he really started me on the right track to getting a lot of read...

I'm not really sure what photoshop elements is capable of. If you can add a texture to brushes in it like Photoshop, then try using a soft edged brush with the cloud texture on it. Then paint with it at varying opacities. You can also use a light tan color with a soft brush, and set the brush to "Di...
