Re: On Obtaining a Tablet...
Linkara, I think you should learn the drawing basics before spending the money on something as expensive as a tablet, let alone a cintiq.

DO you want to by efamous or do you just want your webcomic to just make a stead amount of profit? Because I wouldn't say I'm the former (I never see anyone online talk about my comic or me), but I'm only a few hunred per year short of being able to live off my comic. I go to cons and hand out flyer...

Re: Drawing Crowds
My brother and I were debating this as we were finishing up our most recent comic page: How much is too much detail and energy when it comes to drawing a crowd? I know a lot of other comics where, when drawing a large group of random unimportant characters gathered in a single place, the artist cho...

Ditto, Bram Stoker and those that followed. With such a wide diaspora of mythology to draw from, it's a shame the best many [writers] can do is the standard blond, blue-eyed elf or Dracula-style vampire. Quick correction. Most people actually don't do a Dracula style vampire because there is far mo...

Penny Arcade is successful for far more than just art, writing, and gamers. They may be "limiting" their audenience to just gamers, but because if that they know what people come there to see. Everything about Penny Arcade relates back to video games some how. The name, their comic, their advertise,...

No, the dead don't sleep. Just ask the cast of BPRD. And since my stance on schedules should be pretty obvious since I have only missed an update once. And the way I see it, whatever you hate about webcomics you should do the opposite. So since I hate being lied to about when stuff will update or no...

the staunchest haters of the Man. (see Sorcery101's link above) A good chunk of them I wouldn't called haters of the Man because a good chunk of them I know either are or have worked for "the Man." They are just suspicious because contests like what Zuda is setting up have popped up all over the pl...

I'd also like to add landscape format is not that big a deal. It's actually a bit nice that I can do a super long shot without it being super tiny or having to connect 2 pages. Also, easier to do wide screen type shots. And I think I'll give it a shot. I have a few ideas kicking around in my head ot...

I wanted to comment on this earlier, actually. I always felt that portray of sexual relationships in comics is unrealistic in that characters are always grown-up virgins to whom sexual relationship is the ultimate end of single life, like, find the true love of your life, and only then have sex.
