Re: Any way to change from a custom domain to a .comicgen again?

Ok, I found the old admin and choose .comicgenesis.com as my domain.

I should be good right?

It doesn't seem to have switched over the main DNS yet. But I JUST did it, so maybe I'm worrying for nothing.

OK, never mind it's changed.

If I see anymore issues I'll come back and bug people.

Thanks.

Any way to change from a custom domain to a .comicgen again?

After debating it for a few months I decided to jump on my own hosting with Dreamhost…what with the free everything they were offering for their anniversary…so now I have my own spiffy little site at http://www.peacekeepersforce.com …now I’d like to take my old domain name http://www.thepkf.com with...

Re: Ongoing time travel issue.

I was having the same issue back in Christmas time...it rolled back about a week (comics and all)...I think it was a regular problem because when I posted then I found a few other people with that issue. I know that doesn't help you too much...have you tried uploading a new index page? With some stu...

Re: How 'bout them Tablet PCs?

You know, I actually just ordered a Intuos...I havent had a chance to play with it yet, but I figure it'll be an upgrade from my old Graphire. I was looking at a cintiq though, but I decided against it. I could have pulled if off when I got my tax refund and what not, but since I'd only use it for t...

Re: Breakdown - a boy and his cat

HEY! I've been reading for a while (Since your last comic...still sad to see that one go, but oh well XD) I've really been loving it, great story and characters so far. And the art is really stylized, I was happy to discover you were updating again after being dead for a while there. Anyhow, you've ...

Re: I’m thinking about removing my archives and starting ‘fresh’

I decided that I would stash Book One in a kind of 'hidden' archives, where they can be kept for posterity, but not force the readers to go through them all...unless they'd like to of course. I also kept the Zips for people to just download them all and give it a go. Thanks for the advice Neo, I app...

Re: I’m thinking about removing my archives and starting ‘fresh’

Hmmm...That's actually not a bad idea...I didnt even think about routing my archives like that. Maybe I'll do both XD... Yeah, if figured that CG wouldn't let me host the Zips myself. Which is cool...cant complain about free, right? (Not too much anyhow). I'll think about it some more, like I said, ...

I’m thinking about removing my archives and starting ‘fresh’

Ok, this is something that probably hasn’t come up that often. I’ve decided that I’d like to take the entirety of ‘Book One’ out of my archives. Yeah…three years of comics…taken out. I’m planning to offer each chapter for separate download if someone is interested. What I’m going to do is have the f...

Re: Can I put LiveJournal in my page?

Further compounding my confusion...I just read into getting a paid account and it said that it would only remove the ads when I was viewing the pages. So they wouldn't disappear for my readers, but two comics I read: http://sorcery101.net/ http://headtripcomics.comicgenesis.com/ Don't have the ads i...

Re: I have apparently fudged up the works...

Have you tried to run a regular update? Or a Full?

Sometimes the link breaks and you have to run an update to fix it...

Failing those...well...dial-an-admin.
They'll help you out.

Can I put LiveJournal in my page?

I know some people have done it, and I did search, but I didn't get a definitive answer. I already have it working on a tester file (on my computer, not my site yet) and I was wondering if I can put it on there? I know that comic gen has rules involving other advertisements, so I kind of think I can...

Thought I should throw in my hat as well

It's been happening to me on a regular basis...it seems like every night at midnight or so it freaks out. Every other comic gen comic I read too. But since this is a known (and expected issue) I guess Ill just sit back and relax. Haha....Well...Yeah...I'll keep an eye out.

Thanks again.

Well...it seems to be working now...I just randomly updated and it worked when I hit the plain old 'regular' button...So I'm assuming whatever the problem was it was on my end.

I'm having a problem with auto updating my Index [solved]

For the last few weeks I've noticed that my Index page isn't updating with the normal update...I have to go in and make it do a 'full update' which I know isn't good so I've been avoiding it. It doesn't even update if I hit regular or index update...but the comic has been loading...so I don't know w...
