HOLY FUDGE, Bob, you're right! I can't believe I'm still doing that. I'll have to go back and fix it.

Thank you all for your comments. First off, yes I'm abrasive. If I had social skills, I wouldn't be on the Internet . As I said in my post, I STARTED with Loomis. If you're suggesting I read Figure Drawing for All It's Worth again rather than move on to the next book, I might do that. I still use hi...

(Advanced) Artist wanted for critiquing.

Heys. I need someone to start critiquing my strips. I'm not asking for essays, just a few phrases once a week. Just a "panel 2, fingers look too blocky, panel 3, perspective is inconsistent among female character's afterimages, panel 5, right side of face is too sharp and slanted." Something to work...

On my site right now is part 2 of "How Not To Draw a Fight Scene." The series might be relevant to some of the dropdown members.

I put in the advertisiment banner, but if the page has to be in Workspace to show the tags in the proper form, how am I going to get an outside computer to access it?

Big Calendar tag...

...is not working for me.

The page,

http://plotlessviolence.comicgenesis.com/Archive.html

shows the text, " ***big_calendar*** " even after a full update. The regular ***calendar*** tag works fine,

so what gives?

Thanks.

My newsbox not showing

Hi. My newsbox isn't showing anywhere, (someone made this thing: http://guide.comicgenesis.com/newshack.php?&rating=90&newsboxes=99 so you can look at them all). I update once a week (at least), the newsbox is less than 60 kb, it's showing up fine in the SiteAdmin, and there's a newsbox tag on my ma...

Yeah, Random, you're going to have to make yours.

No one wants to join the all-inclusive one.

I don't know how to program, I just copied Cortland's code he graciously had made public. If you want to set up a more complex newsbox ring, I'll join it.

Maybe your mom has her own newsbox dropdown ring. I mean, COME ON! I wrote out "...need more members" and it just hit me. When was I going to get the opportunity to make that momma joke again? Well so much for this idea. I mean, purgatory, IT'S WORKING! It's on my site, working fine, available to ev...

It's up and working, I, like your mom, just need members.

As far as ratings go, this will be the universal dropdown. Utah may have just gotten its first computer, but that doesn't mean they get to edit the internet accodring to their whims. Someone else can make the G-rated dropdown.

I've set up a public newsbox until Keenspace gets the official one set up. The forum for that is http://forums.comicgenesis.com/viewtopic.php?t=69496 All you have to do is give me a link to a 150 x 300 pixel .gif (must be publically viewable, so upload it as a banner), and then place <script type="t...

In the meantime, I've set up an interim Newsbox ring. It's up and running, I just need people to send me their newsboxes: 150 x 300 pixels (old format). The only rules are that you put it on the main page and that you not violate the law. Post your information http://forums.comicgenesis.com/viewtopi...

New Newsbox Signup

Hi. The guy who draws Cortland showed how to make your own newsbox thing, so I'm starting one available to all Keenspacers who want in. All you have to do is post a public (make it a banner) link to a 150 x 300 .gif, the url to your comic, and post the newsbox code on your main site (screenname.keen...

I love fight scenes. I just think they're beautiful. That's why I started my comic as a hobby (because, I assure you, it hasn't brought me fame or fortune). The point of the dropdown is to let fans that like webcomics with fight scenes readily identify other webcomics that cater to that interest, no...

Members: 1) I'm dissapointed with half of you. Godlike, Jaeger Rising, and Vendetta are fine, but the rest of you don't seem to understand that the members of this dropdown are expected to be drawing FIGHT SCENES, not stories ABOUT fighters. And War World hasn't updated in 3 months. It's not that yo...

You need more fight scenes. There was one 3-move bit at the beginning, and then what? Various angles of angsty teens being emotional?

You're added, Cold. I'm raising the numbers for the future, though. I understand the benefits of drawing fight scenes without any sort of motion lines whatsoever, but...uh...that tackle seems to miss both the girl and the bad guy completely, so I didn't really understand it until now.
