I don't find his actions petty at all. What I do find petty is the tyranny of the whiner, trying to change the way things are because it is not the way they want it. RH has not made a big stink by whining and throwing a tantrum about the decision. He has simply decided to change his circumstances so...

Heh, What kind of sick and twisted game is this? I believe that man has the god given right to Life, Liberty, Property, and the Persuit or Happiness. As a result, he has the right to protect these rights, even to the point of defending himself by the use of force. Governments are instituted amoung m...

Re: Does Quentyn have any moral flaws?
Well, I thought he was out of line assaulting the doctor about his bad parenting advice. That was clearly a self-righteous over reaction. What of Christ clearing the temple of the moneychangers? If I recall, Christ used similar methods in that example. We tend to remember Christ as being peaceful. ...

So if you say you can lose your salvation you are really saying Jesus did not do a good enough job. I don't think you believe that. This begs the question, What was the job of Jesus? What is salvation? In essence, this comes in three parts.. 1) Teach the people... this is the same as any other prop...

I find hardline christans to, one the whole, be decididly unpleasent people. But at least with them, you know they honestly believe what their saying. With "moderates", trying to find out what they believe is like a struggle. It's hidden behind so much shiny-happy nonsense you almost have to beat i...

I don't think these are attacks on Christianity specifically, but upon government and government sponsored entities activly endorsing a religion. Don't kid yourself. If we accept the theology of Christianity, we accept that there is an advisary. The Father of Lies would like nothing more than to in...

Well, I don't really have a problem with post-modernism. It just sort of evolved into what it is through progression of the fundamental ideas behind America. If you actally studdy the history, you would discover that the the fundamental ideas behind America had nothing to do with the socialist post...

Heh.. Money is a thing and without people is not worth anything. What would a chest of gold be worth on a nuked planet? ( no people ) In a free market, if you exchange with another, you both get more value than you gave up, or you would not make the exchange. If you can purchase a loaf of bread for ...

Phineas closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. As he exhales, his clothes become a nearly solid black mist, which rises to cover his head and face. About that time the mist ignights where it meets the ground, and in a whoosh of blue flame, the only thing left where Phineas was standing is a whisp ...
