LoneWolf23k: Indian Burial Ground? SERIOUSLY!?

While I'm not saying it isn't, Beltane did not say burial ground, she said sacred ground. That covers far more than just burial sites.

To me? No, it's not Piff. It's another character, using his name. Just as all the other goblins are. Goblin Hollow ended, to me, when the toulpas died. It's a different strip, now, merely using the same name(s), and not only has to earn my interest again, but actively fight against my dislike of it ...

Sadness. Loss. Fear that I've lost a happy strip to read... because I won't forget.

I never liked, or tolerated, 'retro-continuity' in comic books, and find it... well, just the above, here.

The questing group, maybe a picture thereof?

Just a thought, back in 2004 some filler happened to show some of Quentyn a bit older seeming, and out on quests... one of them showed him in a 'group' picture.

Kestrel, at least, is there. I'm not certain about the other two.

don't forget, he CAN'T leave.

Poor Quentyn can't even leave town to hide out, he can't be that far from the sword. How long will it take for the rather powerfully-lux drawing sword to manage to charge up, even when covered by silk, hmm? And, should it happen to have gotten a charge by now, how will it react to THIS emotional sto...

Species and breeding

Well, 'officially', the definition of 'species' includes being able to interbreed. As in, if you're different species, you can't 'get her into trouble'. This might be a bit overstated, as some 'species' can interbreed, like lions (panthera leo) and tigers (panthera tigris)... so one might limit this...

two states...

Just a little factoid from the 'Guns Magazine 2006 Annual': Two states currently allow any resident OR non-resident (visiting) adult citizen to carry a concealed, loaded firearm, with no permits required. Which two states? Why, Alaska... and Vermont. I don't recall hearing of any constant mass crime...

More than meets the eye, even now...

Just possibly, the sword still may be more capable than the artifactors and wizards have realized, even yet. If, and I have no idea, so it's speculation only, a 'weaker' rune (as in overwritten, semi-erased, etc, as most of what's been put on the sword is) is 'smaller', due to lower power, well, the...

Sword isn't the only 'magic' that's going to be improved

It appears from what we're seeing now, that purely by drunken accident, our heros and heroine of the 'making of the sword' have invented, for the first time in their world's known history, 'logic gate' runes. Once discovered, these could be used by other magics, to create much 'smarter' spells, in t...

Logic gates defined

Here's a link to pages that describe and show truth tables for the basic 8 logic gates. Note, by the way, that gates can be used to build memories, so, a full 'computer' requires only gates, and power. Don't go assuming because it has gates it's an IC, or something. You can build gates out of ordina...

Re: remuneration Well, there are probably laws regarding Questor 'salvage rights' when they deal with evil lairs, labs, and the like. Perhaps they get a 10% of salvaged value 'fee' on top of any contracted amount, or the like. That would amount to quite a bit of cash, for this one, given the massive...

Er, about that crystal...

Anyone else concerned that our Hero's head seems to have fallen just about under that still-active energizing crystal?

Great fight, powerful use of the prayer, if he never in his life did anything else, Quentyn IS a Questor, forevermore, now.
