One more question -

What does everyone think of having three comics on the same website? Does anyone find that confusing? I wasn't sure how to apprach the design of the website to accomodate for three stories. The current story is always on the home page and each comic has it's own archive...

The Chubby Bunny Show

Just posted the first season of The Chubby Bunny Show at TedStories.com - its a story about a cartoon rabbit who is trying to make it as a serious actor. In season 1 the characters act out a scene from Heat to help Chubby Bunny prepare for an audition. There is now one season from each of the three ...

I use a 'tables' when designing websites. A table is a lot like a grid. They are very flexible if you know how to use them. You can even place a table within a table. Take a look at the attached image. The thin grey lines show the table, but they are not visible on the actual website. I begin each w...

Assuming there is nobody directing what you draw, it's all up to you. You are the artist - it's your descision if you want to learn that or if you don't want to draw it. As a graphic designer, I never had a full time job a graphic designer - I just went and started by own business after graduating. ...

Sequential Self Portrair

I posted a sequential self portrait at TedStories.com . It was something done a few years ago that has been collecting dust. Since things got busy and my new comic (The Chubby Bunny Show) is only half colored, I thought some of you might find this interesting. http://www.tedstories.com/other/seq_sel...

Ted (the artist) did print some comics in a few publications. During college, the school had a collective comic that was printed called Static Fish. Ted participated in that a handful of times. He also had a comic printed in 11211 - a magazine about the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, NY. I know t...

I agree with the comments about the lines. You should focus on the line quality. Some should be thicker and others should be thinner...

I don't know. Couldn't make it through the first one... Looks like a lot of work went into it through. Technically, it looks well done - just not my type of thing.

So, how does one get published in a paper? That would make a good article for all of us to read.

Its interesting to see how different your comic was when it first started. I read the first few of them - reminds me of some things that happened to me - skating around and being called a loser... mmmm. memories.

Contests are not a great way to attract a web designer... this is speaking as a web designer. I see posts all the time that read: "Corporation ABC announces a logo design contest. Winner shall recieve $500" Its just a company looking to spend $500 on a project... I would suggest posting on http://ww...

See if you can get a copy of Adobe GoLive or Dreamweaver from ebay or elsewhere. Those programs make it easy to administer a website. Grab a book from the bookstore that walks you through those programs... It'll take a while to learn, but well worth it when you don't need to depend on a web designer...
