Nice! I like it! Now for the nitpicking part. You have some problems with little white space between line and tone. It particularly stands out in the middle-right hand pannel. Also, I'd suggest making bigger tones. Part of the neatness of screentones is that you can see the dots. So be sure to choo...

I do a black and white comic and prefer using screentones to greyscale. I think I've FINALLY gotten it to a point where it looks good (well, with the strip that I'm publishing on the 29th). The way you're using them now, I'ld almost reccomend just using greyscale for coloring and shading. What I li...

I don't screentone, but I do believe Keffria and Soap do some mean screentoning. Check out their comics and I guess try to get in contact with one of them for advice. Keffria really doesn't do alot of screentoning, but Soap's makes me giggle with happiness. I've done alot of studying with my own co...

How about changing the lighting for the hair? Hair is made of strands, and the light that bounces off it isn't solid. This is a good reference for it: http://www.merekatcreations.com/html/tutorials/hairmain.html But seriously, it's pretty good. A few tweaks here and there, and it should be perfect....

^.^ No problem. I like helping other webcomic artists. It's a big world, and it's hard to make it in it without a little help. :D We all learn from each other. I hope you find something you could use...!

No clue whatsoever on the non-photoshop. I wasn't too fond of the look of GIMP personally, but I think if you google it, you might be able to find something good.

edit - ^.^ Here is the google list, hope you find something useful here!

I'd like to see it in screentone, for comparison, but I think you should draw it then scan it, and try all three to see which one would be the best. The mouse drawn doesn't look too bad, but I prefer your hand drawn. http://opera.com/digitone/ http://shounenaigo.keenspace.com/tone/floozy http://psyc...

Screentoning

Alright, this is my first attempt at screentoning using Photoshop, and, although I have found a few basic ideas on how do to it, I still feel like something is missing. This is my FIRST ever piece that I have screentoned, and I would like some tips....Please? *puppydog eyes* (BTW, this is not the fi...

The art doesn't look bad to me at all. Actually, it's alot more advanced then alot of the artwork that has come out, and god knows that I'm no master. You are establishing your own style, and I like that. The coloring is a bit ammature, but we all have to start somewhere. The biggest complaint that ...

I'm sorry, but I was under the mistaken impression that there were these things known as moderators. Legend tells that they answer your posts, but in the land of make-believe, we don't believe in myth. That's kinda rude. The mods can't be here all the time, they do have quite a bit they have to do....

Alright! Without making a completely new thread, I wanted to get more of an opinion on the newer pages of my comics. I know that the first six pages basically are horrible, but I have added many more since then. I had also been advised to try and draw more hand-drawn backgrounds and such, and so, fo...

Alright, all of my comics and webpages before May have all dissapeared. This has happened just recently, as of today.

edit: This is including in any sort of FTP that I use, including Phelinx.

edit2: reuploaded the missing comic pages and forced a manual update. Seemed to fix everything.

So, if I *have* characters who are demons, but they *haven't* appeared in the comic yet? Does that count?

Granted, I would *love* too see Mirage, Chibi, and the Ney'ko Kimi playing checkers with Methuzila. :D :D

Heee....

Can I jump on the bandwagon too? Huh, Huh, Huh? I dunno how it would work with my comic, 'cause it's so early in (10 pages Whoohoo!) But you can feel free to use any of my female characters (which is most of the cast) here is a list... http://epidelu.keenspace.com/cast.html I actually would offer up...
