The design seems to work just fine in Safari 1.2.4, though I haven't another browser to compare it to.

Speaking of which, nice work on that design--count me impressed. 's both classy and pretty.[/u][/i]

This isn't an answer to your question, but I hope you'll forgive me--I followed the link to your comic, and it looks rather cool; the art is quite stylin', though I actually sort of miss the colored pencils from the early strips. Anyway, I'll be checking the comic better when I have a bit of time, b...

Re: Some advice

But i've run into a weird problem: I've used only my tablet to do them, and basicly everything that i posted on here, or that will go in my comic (once i'll get back to doing it). So i've tried to do some drawing on paper, and i was disappointed that i don't seem to be able to translate what i've l...

I'll add myself to the acclaim--most interesting. Never--for me--laugh-out-loud funny, but that's not a criticism, only a comment on the quirky and subtle nature of the humor.

Your action scenes are well done and have a pretty good flow--I can't even think of the number of comics I've read where, as soon as action becomes more complicated than "standing or walking", it becomes completely impossible to tell what's happening. I'm not normally a fan of bright colors myself, ...

Thanks for the commentary, folks! I appreciate it... A great way to experiment with some of these ideas would be to pop a piece of tracing paper over the top of your drawing and re-ink it, concentrating on different light sources and effects. Or you could make 5 or 6 photocopies of it and just go to...

First attempt at brush-inking...

So, I was about to sit down and work on a drawing, when--horror of horrors--I see that somehow, while sitting on my shelf overnight, the thing had acquired a decent-sized grease spot. I was planning on pencil-shading the thing, but this annoys me enough to actually give me the courage to do somethin...

DemonLamma: the cloth in that particular drawing is looking pretty good. And yeah, folds are the devil. But then, if you generally cut folds out, you lose a lot of dynamism--things just look more static. You lose a way of showing underlying structure--a body under a shirt, instead of just a shirt. A...

Don't ask, i don't know I'm gonna join those saying: I don't know what it is either, but it's rather cool. I posted an earlier version of this in an RPG thread a while back, but it's finally finished. He's a Changeling character of mine... I use "he" loosely, because he's actually a eunuch, but hey...

I have this definite fear that the cheshire cat is going to eat me... that is, assuming the creepy piglet doesn't get me first. I like the picture. ^_^

I've no idea--there's a little bit of manga in my geneology, but not much. This is a passable example of the semi-realistic, desaturated-color, weighted-lineart I use.

If I remind anyone of someone, I'd be quite curious...

BTW, Peppermint: Nice Earthling lyrics in your sig. ^_^

I tend to play my characters around their faults. If I have a general backstory, a notion of the sort of things that the character will never, ever do right , and perhaps a few strengths, I generally find that sufficient. F'instance, one of my favorite characters--most complicated in depth of motiva...

Apart from the character in my comic, I play an elven druid called Celyn. He, like all of my characters, is a bit of a wuss.. But damn, he's a hot wuss. He basically gets through an adventure screaming and occasionally flirting with the hot blonde fighter chick. It's not a bad life, really. Hey, he...
