I always forget about the forum here. I comment on the artist's LJ instead.

Yup, I had it wrong :-)

My original guess was blue hair was the male and pink hair was the female, based on the hearts and the skirt that pink hair has. But since that is so obvious, I have to be wrong. Looking again, pink hair actually has a long T-shirt that goes below the crotch, not a skirt, and bike shorts on. That is...

More frequent updates!!

Whoo hoo!! I just noticed that Umlaut House 2 is getting more frequent updates now. I haven't read this strip since the week before Dragon*Con, so I did not notice the change until today. I am very happy to see this. If I could vote for the strip, I would be doing so from every PC I had access to (b...

It's back!!

Oh my god, it's back and better than ever!! *happy dance* I am VERY glad to see the return of Umlaut House in full. I was happy with just Beating A Dead Comic once a week. This is more than I could have hoped for, and I am VERY happy to see it.

I checked the website at 9PM EST and the strip for today was up. I really liked the punch line, it works even if I wasn't a long-time reader of the comic strip. I am SO glad that you decided to continue doing it. For a dead comic, it certainly has a lot of life left in it.

New project already?! Coolness!! Can't wait to see it. Do you know how often you will try to update this new series?

While I agree that Chapter 1 is not the greatest thing since Umlaut House :-), it was not bad. Some things needed to expanded out more, or else I missed a few strips and got confused on the action. It was still a good story and I want to see it continue.

Re: Last Umlaut House on December 21

I'm re-running the ones that are already on the web at the accelerated rate of two per week. After that.. well, we'll see. It'll either be once a week or once every two weeks, depending on what the buffer looks like at the end of the two-per-week-a-thon. May I suggest instead that you make Unit Zer...

It can't be over!!!

NOOO!!!! It can't be over!! There is still so much more story to tell!! How does Saundra discover that her high speed toaster is really a time machine? What happens the first time she uses it? When will we see the truely mushy stuff between Saundra and Volair? My imagination is still running wild ov...

I don't know if I fully articulated this, but Beating a Dead Comic was created TO STALL FOR TIME. So what? It was still good to hear from the creator! And I liked your avitar! In one weekend, I bought myself almost ten weeks to get the finale put together, and as of now, it's more than half done. N...

Enjoying the post-strip strips

I tried to email Allen a couple of times, but Hotmail keeps bouncing my messages back to me. I enjoyed Umlaut House when it was a story strip, and I am now enjoying the Avatar strips. It is nice to see Allan has not given up on the comic, even if it's format is changing to something unknown (for now...
