However, currently whenever I try to upload something, I get a permission denied error. The Facts: URL: guitarraven.comicgenesis.com FTP Client: FireFTP Browser: whatever the lates...

It's like the fat girl in high school who makes up for her lack of physical attractiveness by pretending she's sexual, which instead just makes her even worse. I think I need to introduce you to my roomate: She has thick glossy ringlets down to her shoulders, legs up to her armpits and smooth caram...

I don't really like that sugary BL stuff (artwise or plotwise), which means my tastes are limited. But I do like yaoi with two characters who aren't uber-uke/uber-seme and are drawn well. In this case, it's like other people have been saying... twice the hawt. Yaoi can have some really nice art. Als...

Wish we knew if the person who did the OP wanted a service where people could order an arbitrary number of copies for themselves, or just wanted to have someone print a bunch of copies of his books and sell 'em himself. Has anyone had any good experiences with comixpress, or any of these other place...

Does Ka-Blam work with saddle stitch, or perfect binding? I'm thinking the former, since they have a page limit at 52 (in which case I'd have to go with Comix). On the off-chance it's the latter, though... oy, what a deal :). Rather than have anyone sell my comics for me, I'd go to a nice con and ha...

If you're just looking at getting your stuff printed, might I recommend comixpress as the cheapest place I've found so far? I haven't tried them out personally (I had a doujinshi printed awhile ago at Dreamweaver Press instead), but you do have the option of getting a proof to make sure everything i...

Uhah. *is blown back by the sheer amount of text* The art seems pretty well done, but you tend to clutter up the panels with a lot of dialogue, and sometimes it's difficult to tell which speech bubble comes first/who's saying what. But what I really want to say is: It's a comic! I think you should s...

It's very cute, but it kind of reminds me of those old PSA announcements they'd run at the end of cartoons like Captain Planet or Ninja Turtles. It got too much for me by the "We should focus on our similarities" page. Artistically, though, it's much better than average. Just not my thing, I guess. ...

Ah ha...not everybody in Singapore has an inhuman way of typing (or speaking, for that matter). But I'm not actually Singaporean- I'm Thai living here. Please don't ask me about palm beaches though. I haven't lived there for nearly a decade. Right, then. I have a biased source of information >.>. A...

Re: ...beta...writer?
Wow. This thread exploded. dumb question...what the heck is a beta writer...is it a web program thing? or a person who makes my text more legible? is the layout confusing? or the plot? how did i put down my art...i think it looks good!! what are you trying to say?! I think someone's already answered...

Curses; everyone's already said what needs to be said critique-wise. At least it means you've got the advice of people who know what they're talking about. It's a pretty interesting story (a change from "saving/destroying the world", or something) and you've got a pretty good set of characters. I gu...

I'm starting to sound like a broken record here, but I'd recommend a beta writer. It would really help the text make easier sense to the sleep-deprived (me). Also, it might help if you stop putting down your own work, as it usually only discourages other people from sitting down and reading it. That...

This is pretty interesting. I... like it. Although I think that has more to do with the guy with no arms than anything else. A few website issues: You seem to have some random web address sticking out at the bottom of your page. Also, some cast and other information would be nice. Other than that, k...

You all say that now, but considering my first attempt at Flash, this is a pretty terrible idea >___>. Some people can do amazing things in Flash , and this is good. Dude, just kill some of them off. Character assassination for fun and profit! Kill them D: ? I can't do that, I'd get murdered myself! Plus, once dead they'd probably just come back as ghosts >___<. I agree that the narrative style is really all over the map. You started off well with that "I love ...

Indeed. An irrevocable mistake, if you ask me :P, especially for someone starting out on their first comic. Ah well. I suppose you can't make a good comic without making some crappy ones first. Plus, the going is pretty slow, even with three pages a week. On the other hand, at least I'll have plenty...
