Notice that nothing is indicated about the path taken to that destination. Paul tells us that as Christians we have been given the destination of becomi...

You know, I just got finished writing an article in my livejournal about the pomposity of skeptics Hmmm, I wonder if I shall have to write an article about the inability of people to recognise sarcasm. :) The emphasis on her lack of credentials should have made it obvious. But then, it is so diffic...

I admit to everything said in the responces to my last post. I just want to point out that this thread was "REAL rat kings" So I pretended it was a blog and set about to research the facts (by calling my sister. This represents the highest form of research.) and expose the vast religeous Right-Wing ...

Hey! Haven't seen you in a while. How ya been? I been great. I been over at http://www.justadventure.com writing game reviews and articles. Concerning what happened to the rat wights... http://npc.keenspace.com/d/20050217.html "...wights are always bound to something material... destroy the object and the wight is destroyed." So, if the wights were bound to the rat king, then they are now nothing more than those wisps of smoke we see ri...

I just got off the phone with my sister, the lab tech, who spent years raising rats in the laboratory and she calls "Shenanigans!" The following are some of the factoids she cited: -) Rat Kings have been placed on display since the 12th century, but always dead. A living Rat King has never been auth...

OK, to get back to some of the original questions from the first posts... Why did the Rat King wait until now and where was it getting its power from? The timing would appear to be an accident as stones from the doorway fell away and smashed the case. The crystal appears to have been dead all those ...

since the disappearance of Quentyn of Ridgedale from the Sanctuary lands. Disappearance? Great, now we have another historical thread to wonder about. As for the stag, well, I really don't know what else to add, except that perhaps now Quentyn will realise that his dream was anything but. Too bad his realization will be published. Quentyn has been trying so hard to downplay the divine influence on his life: The White Stag The impossible sword Get...

Just to add to the trivia here, "Emmet" is Hebrew for "truth" Good one! Now, go back to the museum to the "Kings of the Seven Villages" display. Thanatanous, the Mage. "Thanatos" is greek for "death." I'm not sure just what the ending does or does not indicate. Any more special names out there?

You're right, Earl. Yet take a look at the very next day and it is gone completely. Then look at the next day and it's in one cell and off the next. Perhaps the effect was so faint to begin with that it was only noticible under certain lighting conditions. And as time progressed it became more prono...

Wow, shades of meaning here.... Every natural language is living and tends to mean exactly what the person speaking intended it to mean. When I hear the word "rube" I tend to think of a person who grew up isolated in a small village, no concept of big city life or society, uneducated and highly gull...

Define "rube" From http://www.wordreference.com/definition/rube.htm noun (U.S. and Canadian) (slang) an unsophisticated countryman [ETYMOLOGY: 20th Century: probably from the name Reuben] Go back about 50-75 years and the only people giving their kids biblical names were the Appalatian folk. Well, I went back to the very begining to the only pictures of the original Quentyn of Ridgedale and.... The only two frames which appear to show his forelock do not appear to show it blond. Of course, this could be because the images are all in the current Quentyn's imagination and he didn't know a...

So, does 'tea rag' = tabloid?
You might be confusing the "Fact and Opinion" with the "Fact and Onion."

Easy enough to do.

Why Tales of the Questor "NOW"?

Sorry if this is a newbie question. I still have a bit more to post before I drop the newbie status. :D

The linking icon for Tales of the Questor shows a little Rac Conna (Quentyn?) and the words "Tales of the Questor NOW"

Why NOW? Or, what does that "NOW" mean or stand for?
