Re: What made YOU happy today?
Congrats, I think. How come? Drama? I use FB very little myself. No drama. Honestly I used it like every 30 minutes every day for like 6 years. But this year I really wanted to be more private and I realized that I was documenting my whole life to a lot more people than I'd like. Not because I want...

Laemkral told me about this thread. It warmed my heart a little :D Kind of ridiculous to know that some people have been active in this forum for 12 years or so, and that they made long lasting friendships that have evolved, for some, into relationships and even families. It's crazy to me that I was...

Well, I live in South Carolina, which is pretty backwards. Neonazis can march, Marilyn Manson can't perform in the state, confederate flag on the statehouse grounds, etc. Anyway, WE even give out free condoms, so I think that's pretty standard in the US. In most places anyway.

I got a job. Congratulations! Where? Doing what? Does it involve political intrigue? LOL. No. I will be working a the local arts and crafts store nearby my apartment. It pays decent, i guess, and I get good part time hours. So it'll do for now while I prepare for grad school. I'm happy with it, bec...

Simple yet true- You're an idiot if you oppose universal healthcare. I have no idea how Americans put up with their current system- On that, my family would have lost their house when mum got cancer, dad's right hand would be useless or he'd be in severe debt, and my diabetic nan would have lived i...

I think Obama is being a wuss. Screw bipartisanship. Give me my universal healthcare already. If it requires taking some of Hilary's balls to do the job, then do it.
This is a small reason why I still feel that Clinton would be better at the job.

Stinky and I were just in Maine. My family goes every year for vacation - I'd love to live there. But then, I also love winter and snow. And lakes and mountains. And moose and loons. In fact, funny you should mention Maine, because it's a nice segue into my post, where I announce that Stinky and I ...

OMG Now What?
It just hit me that I'm like....21 now! I feel that in my short life I have accomplished a lot, and have fulfilled many of my dreams and goals. But like many people in my current position, I feel a weird lull. Like, what else is there left to in life? Yes, there's marriage and career and kids and st...
