what I've understood so far is that the studio is pretty fresh on the market, so getting it printed would probably be going through them.

That's not completely true... I've noticed this myself, from link offs from comics like little-gamers, chugworth and applegeeks... For a small comic it's an amazing thing to see 10 times the ammount of visitors extra popping in to check your stuff... from that 20% of them actually enjoys hanging aro...
