I trashed my webcomic site but I posted three new comics recently. Trying to get back in the swing of things. I used to be named Stephen Henderson-Grady of Pirate Queen Marianne; I renamed it to just Marianne.

I am amazed that younger people could actually be better with a tablet than with paper. Makes me feel old, really. I feel like I'm drawing with boxing gloves on with the tablet.

My advice: use paper, don't erase. Eventually you'll make fewer mistakes to begin with.

I don't know what country you are in. If you are in the USA, don't both registering a copyright unless you make money on your webcomic. Just put a little © at the bottom of your images (because you already have a copyright on all creative works) and send nasty emails to people if they use your stuff...

Hand lettering is sort of inherently superior for hand drawn comics. I think you should continue to do it. (Your comic is charming, by the way.)

Having simple non-descript characters is a device. The success and failure will lie with your jokes. I agree with that.
