R Kolter? At least he claims not to be able to draw but I think the ABOL looks great.

I draw my own comic and I'd love to do another one but don't have the time to draw it. However I would have the time to write one and I'd enjoy working with more of a storyline strip. If you give me a bit more of an idea of what you're looking for I could write up some scripts for you to have a look...

Oh, and what makes it even worse, the address is hiye.keenspace.com I could have guessed that. Just imagine me as being very very embarrassed. Though now that I've found it, wow! The art is fantastic Hiye. This probably isn't the thread for it but I really like your comic (though I do need to learn ...

Damnit, thanks Sortelli.

Hmmm... I haven't got any of these yet. That's okay, I can fit them all in, just give me a page or two.

I'll see a preview for a movie that looks absolutely fantastic, while I wait to see it visions of what it will be like fill my head to bursting point. Then I finally see the movie and find out that it really sucked. So rather than waste the headbursting movie visions I use them for comic fodder.

How would one go about building such a bridge, though? I mean, the moon orbits the earth at a different speed than the earth spins at, right? so either the bridge couldn't be connected at one end or the other (rendering it rather moot), or it'd have to be really flexible in ways that are probably i...

For the moment I'm only drawing a gag comic so this leaves me with a pretty standard 3-4 panel strip. Some day when I do a more story-oriented comic I might experiment with things like the infinite canvas.

Depends. Normally I just draw them complete on one page. However sometimes when I want to draw a small panel with lots of intricate detail I do it seperately 4x the size and then reduce it in photoshop. The other day I realised after drawing a comic that it would be funnier with an extra panel so I ...

Think for a moment how a television series would handle this kind of flashback. As an example one of my favourite shows is Angel, which is coincidentally about an immortal vampire as its main character. While most of the episodes are set in the modern day and told in chronological order you'll have ...

I'd put a space between the navigation bar and the columns below, probably about the same ammount of space you put between the comic and the navigation bar. Okay. Down the bottom you've got three columns. The first is the updates, the second is the tagboard and the third is the newsbox. So far you'v...

Wow, I like your dragons... What you could do (though I've never seen it done before) is hand colour your images then lighten and darken them with screen and multiply layers in photoshop. Earlier today I drew a picture (actually it was a dragon remarkably similar to one of yours, kind of a creepy de...

This has mostly been covered but you're putting too much thought into the swearing. Write the best dialogue you can and use whatever line is funniest, most dramatic, whatever you're going for. Whether it contains swearing or not.

You're a fantastic artist and I'm sure you'll do your church proud. I love Chick's comics, they're about th...

Finding an artist or a writer is hard work. In the world of webcomics often one person does both and any free artists or writers are instantly snapped up by someone else. So how do you get one of these rare free writers/artists? Learn how to pitch. First , know what you want. It seems counter-intuit...

It can be done pretty easily but adds an extra few minutes to how long it takes to put up a new update. Ignore the autokeen next/previous function (remove it from your indextemplate.html and instead upload a .txt for each comic. In this .txt use html to create your own next/previous links and make i...
