No. Someone else asked this <a href="http://forums.keenspace.com/viewtopic.php?t=61854">just recently</a>, and the answer seems to be that you can't change it, but you can register a new site with the new name, and then ask to have the old one removed. This only works if you're really polite, and re...

Personally, I do my progressbar by hand. I've got a photoshop file with all the parts in it, and I just turn on and resize the layers I need, and then save it. For the list e-mails, try <a href="http://notifylist.com/">NotifyList</a>. I host my own list on a friend's server, but the comics community...

'MkDir'. It's at the top of the list on the left, in webFTP.

And if you're using it for a storyline dropdown, yes, it does go in /workspace.

In theory, if you right-click on the page, you can select "Save page as..." and you just save it somewhere on your computer as "indextemplate.html". Then use webFTP to put that in /workspace. The rest of the directions for the template are <a href="http://www.thejaded.co.uk/workshop/oceanblueinst.ht...

::laughs:: No, you're having problems because the system is in limbo between working and not working. I think at this point working it involves sacrificing rubber chickens to Linus Torvalds... Hyro's right. You've just got to keep trying. It'll go through eventually. Also, check to make sure you don...

Real easy answer to that: you're not supposed to edit index.html. You're supposed to edit indextemplate.html in /workspace. Read <a href="http://gear.keenspace.com">The Gear</a>. It's useful for things like that.

There's a sticky at the top of this forum for signup bugs. Right now, there is something goofy going on with the signup system, and Kisai is trying very hard to fix it. Your problem, if, in fact, it is a problem, may be a result of the work being done. Also, I know it takes a few days, sometimes, fo...

You need to use FTP to put your pages. I'd suggest the <a href="http://siteadmin.keenspace.com/cgi-bin/web-ftp.cgi">webFTP</a>, since you're new at this. Once you're in, click on the directory "workspace". Your indextemplate and dailytemplate go there. If there are other pages, they go in the "webpa...

Manual update. http://siteadmin.keenspace.com Log in, press the link that says Manual Update, select "Regular Update", and press "Submit". In theory, when the counter reaches 0, your site will have updated. DO NOT PRESS RELOAD ON THE UPDATE PAGE. Reloading it will reset your position in the queue. I...

Manual update is currently not working. I've been trying to trigger an update since about 3am, and I haven't gotten it to go, yet. Never fear, the problem *usually* takes care of itself. Just give it a few more hours.

Whatever problem you're having seeing the images on your site is on your end. They all show up just fine for me. Somewhere in this forum is a thread about firewall settings and image load problems, see if any of those suggestions fix your problem.

You're not the only one, Ruby. Apparently there's something *really wonky* going on with the signup scripts right now. Real simple, this one. You should NEVER touch index.html. The file you want to be replacing is indextemplate.html in /workspace. If you replace that, manual update, and nothing changes, then manual update is on the frits, and you should wait a few hours and try again. Grammatical sidenote: In your '...

Well, the best thing to do is open up your page in notepad, or some other text editor, and use the "find" or "search" function for the tag <body>. Then add the 'background' information to it. It's usually in the top third of the document, and every html document has one.

Ok, assuming you're uploading to /workspace/webpages, manual update is once again hiccuping. Nothing to worry about, it usually fixes itself. Just try again in a few hours.

It's really just your first few comics that are ludicrously small. The recent ones look fine on my laptop of alarmingly high resolution. You might try just rescanning those first few a little bigger. You've seen my comic, try sizes like that, for the full-page ones. Oh, and I got your email. Aside f...
