Re: I wrote a book!
That Guy, how did you snag yourself that agent? I'm hoping to get my next novel published for real, and I'd love to get a few of my short stories out there, so if the agent route has worked out for you, I'd like to know the details. Everyone I've spoken to has taken a slightly different path. I rec...

Re: I wrote a book!
Exciting and intimidating. I was very lucky to snag an agent who is incredible—she then quickly got the interest of several amazingly impressive editors —and then I had the unbelievable fortune of deciding between multiple offers to select the publisher best suited to the story I wanted to tell. At ...

I wrote a book!
Hi all, It has been a LONG time. Those few of you lifers who remember me might know I wrote a comic for many years about zany supernatural misadventures in THATGUY, and that I continued writing and illustrating with the lovely Kat Santoro, author of the fantasy Cat Legend (my spinoff was called LEGE...

Re: 5 years later...
It's been two weeks since I attempted to make contact with the mods. No word from Kisai... StRedWolf also unresponsive. Rations are scarce and morale is low. I'm looking forward to resorting inevitably to cannibalism, but must decide who to eat first. Don't worry, Dutch -- you're safe -- I hear kang...

1111! Make a wish! I used to pause class to let my students watch the clock hit 11:11:11. Nice to celebrate the little things just to break up the monotony.

Australia day is a lie parents tell their children -- everyone knows Australia doesn't really exist.

Re: reading OUTSIDE your genre for your muse.
My intuitive idea of it has always been that genre can be defined by any unifying characteristics... You are correct. Nonetheless, I choose to disagree on principal. :P Genre is very loosely defined, and you could lump all sequential art -- or even all art -- into one genre, and prose in another. T...

Re: reading OUTSIDE your genre for your muse.
Now, our genre is webcomics, and I know we all probably read eachothers and our own non comic genesis favorites, but what about outside our genres? No, webcomic is our medium. My genre is a mixture of drama and pretty much everything else, the chapter I'm doing now is drama and horror. I agree. Sug...

Re: 5 years later...
Cool, thanks. I PM'd Kisai. I'm sure if she can't help me she can point me to whoever can. Aw, Thatguy is coming back? About bloody time! :P ;) Not planning regular updates any time soon - but my son is very gradually getting to the point that he can play on his own for entire minutes at a stretch w...

Re: How To Save The World - Tales of a boy and his robot
What's working: Fantastic! It's a fun read so far - Line quality is good, art is bright and cheerful but easy on the eyes, and the premise has loads of potential for comedy or action. The evil Beet Creature is a great design, and I'm interested to see where you'll go with the story. Also enjoyed the...

Re: Images with accompanying text
Adding 'align left' won't set them beside each other, it'll just align the whole thing left -- or just the pic if you end align left right after it. You don't need to resize the images - although making them identical sizes would add to the elegance/intentionality of the page - all you need to do is...

5 years later...
Hi -- so, it's been nearing 5 years since I last posted a comic. No surprise, I'm having a teensy bit of trouble remembering my FTP info. I was able to hit the admin to update, but who could I pester to refresh my memory about what login & password I should use, and what port? Thanks in advance!
