I confess I am on the down slope of this years round of Prednisone. I have learned that all the ups and downs with are due to it screwing my blood sugars. I know its a nessicary evil but I fucking HATE what it does to my mind and mood. 3 days then the crash. Im hoping the Paxil will help some but I...

Ah. Someone else spotted 'em. My husband sent me email about those last night, with a note "Quick, email Ghastly about this!"
Instead of a latex glove, you can slip on a tentacle instead...

The steampunk instruments make me feel better about the sewer-pipe flutes I've been making. They're PVC with copper tube headpiece slides. I've even managed to produce one that plays a mostly-normal scale.

Did no one mention that one of the rumored book Rowling is thinking of writing is an early life of Dumbledore, and the fans at least have been pulling for Snape's earlier adventures in full. If she plans to go back and write in the same world during an earlier time period, then the bits about Dumble...

Swanky gig pics. We performed at a nightclub last weekend, and George snapped some photos before I ran out the door to go play the gig:

reminds me of the account a friend told about being on suicide watch for 72 hours. They would never turn out the lights, which made it really fucking hard to sleep, then they wondered why he was groggy, disoriented, and combative. Duh? Depriving the subject of sleep and using constant, featureless l...

I had a dream the other night about titfucking someone. Which would be no problem at all for me, since while most of me has shrunk from all the weight loss, my tits really haven't...I've gone down a couple inches in band size, which means the cups are actually a little smaller (42DD is significantly...

latest digital painting. I was trying to re-create something I did with acrylic paints on a glass-enclosed candle about 8 or 10 years ago. Ended up looking much, much cleaner than the paint version, because a graphics tablet pointer isn't a paint brush, no matter how you mess with the settings (but ...

I've been writing one-handed fiction for the Depp fangirls. The real-person fics are pure smutfests (no plot). The Captain Jack ones have some plot, though I posted them in the order I wrote them, not the order they should occur. I need to re-edit the original story, The Good Doctor, so that the plo...

Given that I'm now hosting an archive of fangirl erotica that I've written on my website, I don't think I could wreck my reputation any worse than it already has been. Appearing on international TV with the White Rats sort of blew any chance of pretending I was sweet and normal, anyway.

I confess I've been writing a lot of one-handed fiction again. It's a very guilty pleasure. However, it seems to be one that other people seem to enjoy, since I've been getting loads of Depp fangirls wanking to it...

Forum went missing

First I thought it was my nameserver, til I tried and got on the Comic Genesis main page. I tried the link for "Forums" there and the same old NOT FOUND error again. I was actually starting to miss you psychos...

Two latest photos: Getting ready for Folsom Street Fair with the White Rats last month: http://www.retro.com/employees/lee/Costume/Folsom2007.jpg And yes, "pirate" is definitely a fetish. I saw more really bad pirate costumes out there this year that I didn't feel the least bit of embarrassment abou...

Yay, Emperor Norton! Our very own nutcase! Now I have to go see if they have Oofty Goofty in there too (he was another SF character from the same time period. He used to let people hit him on the head with a 2x4 for money)

That's about my problem too. It's been too long since I've had to think in french or german. I've mostly lost them by now. Though I've found I can still read german (and occasionally dutch) pretty well. I don't even try at japanese anymore. I at one point had crammed into my head enough so I could g...

Actually, I was thinking of a somewhat similar subject recently...when we say "disability" we usually think that someone is missing out on life. But there's a whole separate deaf culture now, and they don't consider themselves "disabled." They're different, but they've never been able to hear, so th...

Yes, that's Mr.Depp. Odd how even when he's playing a character who's cadaverous, murderous and psychotic, women seem to fall all over themselves for him. http://www.retro.com/employees/lee/SweenyTodd/crops/swtrailer092crop.jpg http://www.retro.com/employees/lee/SweenyTodd/crops/swtrailer146crop.jpg...

Well, George unearthed a $100 Fry's gift card, so I now have a new track ball, and we have a few other things and some cheap DVDs. So that was cool. Probably be a bit before the rest gets sorted out. I'm hosting the Sweeney Todd screencaps at the moment: HD caps cropped selected caps The trailer is ...

where I've been...

So I kinda dropped off the face of the earth, right? Let's see... I had a car wreck, though no on was injured. Insurance elected to total out my car, so I'm still dealing with paperwork on that. Until that's done, my smashed-up car is sitting on the driveway under a tarp. I have a rental car, but I'...

I haven't done much research yet, but are there tools out there that give you feedback on how on-key you are, and/or records the actual notes you are singing vs the analog data? I really like making up tunes, but sometimes it's easier to hum the tunes I'm fiddlign with rather than toying with a clu...
