XD Looked good so far, so I'll continue reading it sometime when my mom isn't being all spazzy. ^^ (I missed the one year birthday of my comic, actually. >.>;; And I've misse...

Well.. From what I can tell, the thumb should probably be thinner because chances are it's being held farther away than the pinkie finger.. And it needs to be slightly more squareish on the thumb side of the wrist... But if you leave the tip of the thumb and the base the same size and make the middl...

Hm. I figured I'd say something before I fall asleep at my keyboard here... Sorry if any of it doesn't make any sense in places >.>; Some of the more handy things I've used for my comic are these graphite stick things that look like charcoal/pastelles, but are different hardnesses of graphite which ...

Telepathy bubbles?
Ok. I figured out what style speech bubbles I'm going to use for my other comic, Without Mercy, but I have not the slightest idea what to do about the telepathic messages that the demons use when in their "natural" forms. Since their natural forms are wo...

Last time the power was out here it was because of the San Simeon earthquake. I was off innocently watching Return of the King when the floor started shaking an' such (right as they're lighting the giant torch things)... And one of the friends I was with thought it was some sort of special effect be...

Oooh.. MS Paint is fun... A doodle done in like.. 10 minutes just now http://www.onyxserpent.com/withoutmercy/trash/bdmspaint.jpg Proof that I can sometimes even color in MS Paint-like programs (these were outlined in other programs, then colored over/fixed in a MS Paint-like program with only 256 c...

I thought up yet another idea after reading all your posts (I'm glad everyone here is so helpful here ^^), and I think it might actually work... Or at least, in my mind it'd work. Firstly, I think I'd start out with a quick two or three page prologue in which there would be one of the main cast havi...

I already did look through HNTRAC on the matter.. It was the first place I looked to see if there was anything that would help me decide. I wouldn't mind if they were short flashbacks, but the entire lifetime of an immortal seems a bit too long for a flashback, considering that each would probably b...

Flashbacks or no Flashbacks...?
...That is the question. For my main (even though I haven't worked on it for ages) comic, Without Mercy, I am completely unsure as to which way to go about drawing it. After a year of continually expanding it's 25 plus character cast and exceptionally crazy plot, I have lost all conception of where ...

Most of the time, art classes haven't helped me at all.. Only once I think I had a class that actually helped me, and that was the Drawing Sci-Fi and Fantasy thing they had at one of the nearby community colleges.. The other classes I took, although they may have had interesting projects at times, d...

Oo! I just remembered I have a dip pen that I *cough* borrowed from my art class during the summer. I think it needs a new nib, but it's still workable. Only thing is that, for whatever reason, the ink that I got with it now smells like wine. Well, I guess I'll just have to poke around and see what ...

Well, I looked in the phone book... The only things under "art supplies" are the hobby shops. If there are any in this area, they're 1+ hour away without dealing with traffic, and therefore out of the range of the phone book and my parents' will to drive me. Besides, if there was any good art stores...

I use Ulead Gif Animator 4.0 that came with my copy of PhotoImpact 6 (I don't know if it comes with the later versions, although I suspect it does, as I also got that version of the program, with PhotoImpact 5, when I had that). Yeah, sure, it might not be the best set of programs ever, but it's act...
