Why the format change?LibertyCabbage wrote:Starting today, I'm posting the rest of Freakboy as scripts. I've divided the remaining chapters into twelve parts that will be posted each Thursday until the story's done.

Re: W.A.Y. 2015
Well, I don't think I'm especially qualified to critique other peoples comics, but I guess I should give it a shot in the spirit of the thread. Maybe it'll be good writing practice for me. Again, sorry for being like a year late. Freakboy Did a Bad Thing 1. First thing I really notice are the torn e...

Chainmail Bikini: Dang, I forgot I had posted something in here. Thanks for the crit LC. Sorry for the late, late response. Apologies for the wall of text coming. 1. With the coloring, I guess you're trying to take the comic in a more serious direction, but it's kinda hard to pull off with this tit...

Re: How are you doing, comic-wise?
Bleh, I just finished a page and I can't upload it, cuz server maintenance. That's how I'm doing, comic-wise. I am, however, super happy with how it turned out. I think I'm starting to nail my style down.

Re: Advice on Monetizing
I guess I could always do both! For the patreon, I was thinking of doing a drawing as a reward for my first tier, an ink for second tier, and a color piece for third, but then I realized that someone could just sign up, pay once, then discontinue their patronage, cheating me of 24 dollars or more th...

Advice on Monetizing
So I'm kinda in a spot where I'd like to focus on my webcomic/art more. Recent happy changes in my life, including a new job, have propelled me back on this path. I've reached a point where I'd like to start setting up my site to eventually monetize my arts a little. I'm trying to get in on this Pat...

Re: I heard these forums still existed?
I tend to check the forums when I'm working on my comic or updating, which until recently hasn't been much. I usually just lurk. If I happen to see a post that I think I might want to comment on, I usually think myself out of it on the grounds that no one could possibly be interested in my opinion. ...

Re: How are you doing, comic-wise?
Well, I don't normally like to post before I do things, since I have a terrible habit of not following through often times, but I'm -trying- to necro my old webcomic. I've done some pencil work on page 6 of chapter 2, and I've got colors about a quarter done on page 4, so I actually hope to have a n...

Re: How are you doing, comic-wise?
At the rate this is going I'mnever going to update again. I'm just absolutely wrapped up in a cycle of inertia and self-loathing and even though I got pretty far last night I still am nowhere near close to done with this scene and it's so freaking discouraging, even though I mostly like the results...

Re: How are you doing, comic-wise?
Well, it's been like a frickin year but I finally managed to stop playing WoW and color a new page for my comic. Maybe I'll go for a semi-annual schedule. Finish the first story arc when I'm 80.
Oh, I'm trying a new coloring technique. I think it looks pretty good!

Re: How are you doing, comic-wise?
That's really sharp lookin! No problems on my computer. We've finally finished our website renovations, which we started right around the time WAY began. Our About page now has all its unwieldy text hidden in jaunty collapsible menus, and there are even some images thrown in to spice things up. If a...

Re: Art issues: What have you struggled with and why?
Well, I've had a lot of issues in the past but right now my main concerns with my art are consistency and expression. I think my characters often look totally different from one panel to the next and heaven forbid if I try to draw one with a smile or have some quirky expression, then they look like ...

http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll188/jayemkay22/Chrys_zpsbd0f748f.jpg This is my current side project. I dunno if it qualifies as a doodle, but that's how it started. I like to draw my characters in the role-playing games I participate in. Sometimes they get out of hand. She's not totally done,...

I... don't know? My first web comic page went up July 2nd of 2012. So, I guess it's more like a year and a half. But yeah...VeryCuddlyCornpone wrote:Chainmail, you've only been here a year?? How the fuck did that happen?
I think it has something to do with tachyon particles?
