Re: o o o Can't Log into SiteAdmin? Read this thread! o o o
I have also found myself unable to login to FTP. I am using FileZilla and I didn't change any settings but when I tried to update a page yesterday I got the following after it tried to authenticate my password: Response: 530 Login authentication failed Error: Critical error Error: Could not connect ...

I'm actually concerned about the killing of weasels for brushes, too (yes, according to my research they DO have to kill them). It's sort of an ethical gray area... I'm no vegan, but then again I feel that it's pointless to kill wild animals when there may be other options. I've never been able to a...

Regarding the "hard refresh" issue, a few of my readers have contacted me telling me that the main page is "stuck" at an older date for them (as far back as July 22 in at least one case!) and they have to go through the archive page to see newer comics. I told them they should try clearing out their...

Having been hosted on Keenspace/Comicgen since 2001, I am not terribly concerned about recent outages. This too shall pass, as it always has. I for one have actually been really happy with the service for the last few years, the instability is nowhere NEAR what it used to be. These recent hiccups ar...

"Hosted on Comicgenesis" text in the middle of my comics
Hi. I recently noticed on looking through my archives that my multi-image comics are being SPLIT IN HALF by a dumb little link which reads "hosted on comicgenesis" stuck right in between the first and second images. See here for an example of where this REALLY gets annoying: http://untitled.comicgen...

What kind of html editor are you using? Is it one that has a "view in browser" option (i.e. cute html)? Or is it a visual type editor? Just a guess, but maybe it has something to do with the fact that you have a table up top with your menu bar? Tables can be really tricky that way... There's probabl...

Okay... Brace yourselves. I am utterly confused. I understand that keenspace addresses will still "redirect" for a year. However, what I do not understand is this: is there something we need to DO to switch over? My site (untitled.keenspace.com) is STILL untitled.keenspace.com. Will the domain chang...

I, too, have been 404'd! <a href="http://untitled.keenspace.com">Untitled!</a>'s storyline dropdown is doing the same thing.
Is there any chance this was somehow caused by the changeover in the siteadmin URL? Like... the script that generates the dropdown no longer knows where to look, or something?

I guess I'm just annoyed because I never visit these boards unless there's a problem, and you'd THINK they could at least post a note to the main site rather than making us have to come in here and try to deduce it from the myriad conversations. The domain change is really going to suck for people l...

*twitches* Would somebody care to explain to a person who just got pointed here by anohter KS member WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON?! Why is KS changing domains? Why haven't we been formally informed? What will happen to our current domains? Why do I have to dig through the forum just to find any REFEREN...

Seems to be the same problem that many people have, "Connection timeout - No response from server" I'm using SmartFTP... connecting in the usual way (I know I have the proper username and password). I have not changed any settings or anything. I've tried waiting... the other day it was being slow, b...

I can't upload to public_html anymore?
So,... what gives here? Am I required to use autokeen now, or what? I'm using Smart FTP, and I'm getting a "permission denied" message whenever I try to upload something into the public_html directory, such as making a quick fix to a webpage when autokeen is backed up, or for testing my pages while ...
