Re: What made YOU happy today?

My motorized cycle is running extremely well, making me think it needs no more repairs. Yay for not needing to buy a new motorcycle!

Thanks, I found a reference picture on the internet and eyeballed it. The picture there was a birthday present (after I framed it) to a girl I know who is in Mississippi for a year with AmeriCorps and had to leave her bike behind in Wisconsin.

Re: Comic Forum: what is it good for?

A forum is incredibly useful. It will increase your readership, make women (and only women) more interested in you, better your artwork and writing ability and make your food last longer in the fridge.

at times like this I'm happy to have played once, gotten sick of WoW and quit, played again after two years, found it to be the same and quit again, spending my time doing meaningful things and ignoring my co-workers and supervisor who complain that I don't play with them

The Lounge
Blue Zombie
CrebHeads!
Ded End

whenever I do actually work on my comic, it annoys me that I still get most of my referrals (non direct) from The Lounge, as I have despised it since it turned into one big sex joke

I do believe Garfield was the first thing I REALLY drew, back in 3rd grade. I credit it with improving my drawing at the time, and I liked it then. But, as has been said, I can't get myself to continue enjoying something that just does the ame thing over and over.

I like seeing the finished product. I've also noticed that after seeing some sort of violence I find myself wanting to work on the comic.

also check MSCONFIG

In 2000, there is no MSCONFIG, but you can download the file for 2000, put it in the System32 folder (I think) and be good to go.

Another thing to check is to make sure you don't have a lot of crap running in the backgrond, slowing down the computer. There's a chance that if you do, and turn off the unnecesary garbage, you may not need a processor/motherboard/memory upgrade.

Indeed, the Athlon XP's ran relatively hot, especially if using the stock cooling fan (as opposed to buying a better one like Coolermaster, Vantec, Thermalright, etc...) You mean, there are better fans? Do you know any available for laptops? Only real way to add cooling to a laptop is to get one of...

I don't run Windows XP. I didn't like "XP Phone Home" when it came out, and I don't like it today I run W2K, which I have been quite happy with since it came out. Windows 2000 pretty much is just an early version of Windows XP, mostly visual and performance upgrades being the difference between the...
