And the latest patch to My Brain did not stop the memory leaks ...

The randon search thing reminds me of the way one of my teachers used to think up titles for essays. That was long before the internet - really, mid seventies (oeps, just showed my age *blush*) so no context search really. He used to pick up a dictionary, open it randomly, pick a word, close the boo...

Oooooh. Stargate SG-1 type thing? Is that kinda what you mean? Sort off. Just imagine an SG-1 'gate' but without all the dramatic SF-film effects. The portals are essential to the story but not as prominent or flashy. (although on one world a religion has come up worshipping their portal) And the e...

It hits deeper. The normal comic is all about fantasy and real life stuff, things we can relate to and think about. The flashback peells back the outer cognitive layer exposing and confronting us on the emotional level. But than most older memories (which is what a flash back is all about) are all a...

Re: Ummm....stuff and...well stuff.
svenson, you actually want unreliable portals between your worlds?
Not any more than that anyone wants unreliable computer programs. .... I don't have enough with one world. I want a whole galaxy. Oh, well, just a few very different planets with different species, each perfectly adapted to their own and a bit out of their way on the others. With highly technical but unreliable (Windows?) time~space portals between them. Elves and men ...

Of course a flash back means she must have survived. Both the fall and the wolves.

In a sense this whole flashback episode goes deeper than the main story. It is emotionally much stronger. Or maybe it's just me. I see myself in it completely.

You feel like a foreigner. I am one.
I mean, I am Belgian, you can't get more foreign that that can you?

And I don't have a dragon avatar. If I had an avatar it would be an owl (but allas I can't draw anything but streight lines)
