There's a parallel with a word that exists in real-life American English, referring to (mostly) kids who use phrases like "Yo!" and "Y'know what I'm sayin'?" a lot. This real-life word is a combination of two words, one of which is very offensive, but the combination, apparently, is not. Go figure....

But would it be the same thing in this context? I mean, Flora said that yobs were "bigger than Nick." Is this another one of those pixy-culture things?
