couldn't he just have the today_comic tag refer to an .html file with all the table code that has the split images in it?

maybe tighten up the panels, make the font a little larger...perhaps add a gorilla comic relief character. other than that, you're pretty much golden.

if anyone still cares, I have restarted the comic after a two an a half year hiatus. there is actual drawing in it now!

I know mitch clem had a version of checkers speech by the Mr. T Experience. But if you're going to do a song, try not to make it too literal.

I'd say A is the best one for the reason that there's a lot of linework going on in the image, and the screentones do a good job of breaking down the information. It's easier to define those parts with the screentones.

Artists are going to change their style and humor gradually over the life of their comic. It's inevitable, but whether or not the change is good or not is the tough part.
